Leena, feeling like that is normal, it would be weird that we don't feel disheartened and lost in the face of what's happening...that is the heart a muslim should hold, and every human in my eyes.
But as long as you know in your heart that you are doing all you can to raise awareness and help, that's the most important and Allah also knows that, and he counts intentions as well as actions ❤
In these times I remember a hadith of Prophet Muhammad (saws) that says : "Whoever of you sees wrong being committed, let him change it with his hand. If he is unable to do that, then with his tongue, and if he is unable to do that, then with his heart."
Allah has destined different paths for different people, the fact that we can't help by hand still leaves us with using our tongue which we can do and our heart which everyone can do.
The guilt that comes with the comfort of our homes and lives is normal but don't forget that this is also a means of testing us from Allah, we will be tested and questioned with our possessions. Palestinians in Palestine are indeed dispossessed of everything, especially at the moment, but that also means they will have less to be questioned and trialed about, relief and Paradise awaits them inchAllah 🤲
Continuing normal content is part of your job don't feel guilty, its nice to see the result of your house come along ❤

Leena you say you aren’t sure how to speak for Palestinians….but I want you to know….the video of you and your Father was SO informational and helpful for me to watch. I will be honest, I’ve only ever heard from the Jewish/Israeli community and their majority perspective. I truly think, honest, GOOD people are suffering all over the world on different sides of ALL issues. And evil exists on both sides as well, for destruction of good people. It breaks my heart for the innocent children on both sides. It gives my heart peace, as well, to know that GOD SEES THE HELPLESS. He WILL defend them and He WILL judge justly one day. I hope you see this message because I want to thank you for the new perspective. It has helped me again to see that there are two sides to every story. I really don’t think any, one side, is always right, and the other is wrong. Your faith is beautiful and inspirational. I believe in the One and Only King of the Universe. As a Christian, I know our theology differs….yet also has many similarities. I honestly just really really appreciate the light you shed on yet one more suffering group of people. ALL suffering of innocents is horrible. ALL evil will be held accountable one day. GOD is good.

Personally, I found it helpful to just wear my Keffiyeh when I showed up in training sessions, in moments I almost decided not to because my heart was (and is) with Palestine and everything else feels unimportant and superficial when we see our brothers and sisters being murdered in plain sight. I don't know how to explain it, it felt like wearing it clearly stated where my heart was, and it didn't feel like I was ignoring or forgetting our community. And God knows best, just some insight in case it is helpful ❤
I'm finding a lot of peace in God's words.. and His promise of victory and justice.. even if after a while.
