This is Boros Burn, not 4c Rakdos Burn. Burn player gave me a heart attack when they almost declared thought knot seer as the skewer target in G1. The 4th land in G1 (arid mesa) was very well played! They need the untapped source of white on their turn in the event they whiff and need to crack the canyon for a draw into a boros charm or lightning helix. If they shock the land in, it’ll leave them dead on board to thought knot seers (12 life). G2 they should have swung with goblin guide into the solo thought knot seer. You'll see the top card and either get in for 2 more dmg or trade your goblin guide to kill thought knot seer with searing blaze which will also deal 3 to the opponent and draw a card off thought knot seer. I get the thought of holding goblin guide back to block and searing blaze on the opponents turn. This is an opportunity to get in as much dmg early with your creatures until its too late. The 4 or 0 damage you would take that turn from a thought knot seer attack wouldn't change the clock of when you'd die. G3 should have floated red to the liquimetal coating in the event you draw a card with a cost of R. They would have won if they drew a lava spike, lightning bolt, or play with fire. (Play to your outs!) Mana pools empty as steps and phases end. The 5 phases are Beginning Phase (steps: untap, upkeep, draw), Precombat Main Phase, Combat Phase (steps: beginning of combat, declare attackers, declare blockers, combat damage, end of combat), Postcombat Main Phase, Ending Phase (steps: end, cleanup).
Even tho the first game was pretty close, i love how they both seem to have fun :)
