Im top 800.. and i play it with 2 anchor cdms in Rodri and Tchouameni. I feel like 4 attackers 2 cams and 2 strikers is enough for me to attack. If i eventually end up needing a goal i can always bring a more box to box midfielder off the bench for extra offensive support.

This is my main formation, I think you should at least let one fullback join attack because the overlaps are helpfull with this formation, also try to use amfs with diffrent profile like one with high dribbling and speed and the other one with finishing and passing
You are right, these are good points you made, i was just covering the general elements of the system since this is a general advice not specific user and preferences.
I've been using 4-2-2-2 quick counter since it started, but recently changed to long ball counter 🤷🏻♂️😅 Still 4-2-2-2 though, but I don't like to play it symmetrical and I often have a LM instead of the AM. I like destroyers, but you can't bunch them together like you see people do of they seem to argue with eachouther over who is playing where. Great content as always ✌️

Thank you!!!, I also don't feel like a quick counter because most people use. 4222 is very fun for possession. Particually. both wingbacks can join attacking/early cross. I even find out how to play with "Long ball" formation. I hope to see your next video.

4222 and possession tacticis not ideal.
Any chance you could suggest a formation and tactics for new players. There are so many juiced up cards that its impossible to play against them with free cards.
Basic 4213 def on 2 fullbacks or 3CB def on 1 fullback and DMF Check out the META gameplan video.
Can you use 2 build ups CB and attacking fullbacks to make those overlapping runs for crosses?
2 attacking fullbacks will get you countered badly, only do so when you need to a come 2nd half and its risky!

I don’t have any hole players. I play Maradona, Messi, Baggio or Ronaldinho in them AMF spots as creative playmakers.

Im playing this formation but i have my right CF a little bit below of the left cf, a
Lm and an AMF with 2 cdm
I switch between Roberto Carlos LM and Musiala AMF so then i have 2 AMF’s
That can work as good too just personal preference.
Bro there is no difference where you put your players on the pitch. The asigned position (like CF, AMF, SS an so on) decides where your players move.
does this work with Maradona as classic 10 too? as amf
since classic 10 has changed i`d say yes if thats your best option.

Dont have enough Hole Players. Will it work with a new Martinelli as Lmf and Cruyff as Amf?
Martinelli can drift wide, its a good option to have width in some matches but it does not give the center attacking 4222 focus.

usually Yes but on 4222 QC most matches 2nd DMF.
