They are an awesome live band. If you want to, you definitely should react to their actual live performance, they have many live videos on their channel.
The disco high hat in the chorus of this one is so fun. Have you noticed yet that Nico and Kevin harmonize their HARSH vocals? Their harsh tones stack so well together. It's easier to hear in their live performances than in their studio productions. But it's a hidden gem that is easy to miss. EC is great at writing ear worms. They often include catchy and easy to remember (a.k.a easy to sing along with) parts in their songs to get people involved in their music. It's one thing to listen to and watch a concert. But it's a whole other level to actively participate with the band. EC masters that aspect both with their clever writing and their positive energy. What stand up dudes they are! I'm so glad you're hooked like I was. It's fun to watch 😊
Those guys just exploded in the last 4 years. By now they easily sell out a venue for 15.000 people here in Germany and everywhere else in Europe they're getting more and more popular. It's just insane.
Their 2024 North American leg of touring is in the N. E. of the USA and Eastern Canada but I think they did Seattle last year if you do a UA-cam search for Electric Callboy Seattle someone would have filmed it or parts of it. Their European venues and festivals are generally huge and their North American crowds / venues are often a lot smaller
And their European shows include some stellar pyro that we won't get in the states. They are so lucky! I've seen a couple of their EU performances on UA-cam and have caught some downright amazing shots of the boys on stage with killer pyro in the background. 🤘
The guy that did the videography for this one Christian Ripkens does a lot of their live videos and did their vlogs in Europe He also did a Sabaton video that is interesting to compare: ua-cam.com/video/u1Th2hHU7o4/v-deo.html Sabaton also play huge venues and festivals in Europe and much smaller venues in North America I think this was filmed in Prague in Czechia and pyrotechnic rules in Europe are different so there is a lot more (they were supported by Apocalyptica a cello heavy metal band so when you see the guys with cellos they are Apocalyptica)
You thought you were completly out there with your comparison to Hollywood Undead, but given the fact that Sushi, the ex-singer of Electric Callboy had Jonny 3 Tears featured in his song "This is not Hollywood"... you don't seem so far off now, do you ;)

that growl at 5:46 gives me the chills every time

You should check out the song Crystals from them

No way! Haha. I will definitely have to check that out. Thank you for letting me know that! 🫡
Thanks! Came here to write the exact same thing, now I don‘t have to. 😉🤗
