- We aim to create a platform where entrepreneurs talk to other entrepreneurs to better themselves, their businesses and most importantly to give perspective to those looking into starting their own businesses.
Vusi Thembekwayo, our CEO of MyGrowthFund has a chat in this episode with Janez Vermeiren a South African model, property trader, entrepreneur and television presenter.
Every entrepreneur loves a good story about failed businesses 😂 Vusi's excitement is hilarious
You know when what's being said is from the heart, and not from what you hear 👌🏽
I myself am an entrepreuner living in South America, I thank you for helping me & our people. Love you son.
Hey Vusi I like how you ran that talk. I know that one day, I will be sitting in that chair sharing my story
sorry to be offtopic but does any of you know of a method to log back into an instagram account??
I was stupid forgot the account password. I appreciate any help you can give me.
@Jesse Dawson Instablaster =)
@Jermaine Brixton I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm.
Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Jermaine Brixton It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass :D
@Jesse Dawson Glad I could help :D
This interview reminds me of “So Good They Can’t ignore you by Cal Newport”, he mentions one thing that Janez touched on and he said you need build career capital because it will set you up for life
My cuz just sent this to me now, I joined an agency that was started on the back of Storme closing and i didn't know much coz i was young. Learned a lot about the industry in my time there. This world is crazy and modeling is not the same as the good old days
This interview was super informative and great overall, thank you 🙏🏾
2 take aways for me: Hone your skills. Resilience. Excellent talk Vusi

From South Africa, I have a question for everyone around the world: do you think the level of education (academic) you accumulate plays a role in entrepreneurship and if not, then why does one need a partner who is well versed in Commercial Academic Education when they themselves aren't academic?
.
I'm asking because - almost every entrepreneur sideline the importance of academic education, but for some reason they partner with people who are well equipped with the knowledge. Is academic commercial education important? Or it's just a basic requirement you must have before all other highly ranked features you need as an entrepreneur? (I'm an aspiring entrepreneur, but I'm currently a Mathematics Facilitator for high school learners - I hope to embark in entrepreneurship once I master my craft)
You forget the people they partner with usually hv 15+ yrs of experience , entrepreneurs are dreamers and focus more on execution than preparation
how can student entrepreneurs be involved?
What do you mean by involved?
Getting bored like that has to do with you being a Gemini?
I'm not into star signs, but I'm gemini and I'm also one who gets bored a lot
