AUSCHWITZ-BIRKENAU was a former German Nazi concentration and extermination camp. Including the world’s largest cemetery of more than one million Jews, tens of thousands of Poles, Soviet prisoners of war, and many others. Now it is a museum and operates one of the world's most modern restoration workshops within the camp's former economic buildings. In this museum of everyday items such as a toothbrush and an old suitcase, the stories and secrets of these objects are revealed.
