I love this song so much. I've always loved your music Bono because it has a true meaning to how we live our everyday lives. I think this song has a lot to do with what people experience everyday of every minute. Some people can see the light, some can't. Some people are far away from the calvary. I think that darkness is always trying to get the best of us. There is darkness and we all experience it everyday. When we see the light, I believe that healing can take place in our broken being and transform us to healthy being. We are all hurting but the beauty of it all is that we are all on this rough journey together. So as long as we all grow in connection with each other, that's all that matters. The light can't never go out so long as we keep walking in that faith everyday.
Wow! I’m speechless 😶. My dad passed Dec1, 2019. He came to visit me and told me how much he loved me n his grandson and 3 hours later he passed. Tonight I went to my patio n I was Reminiscing and praying about my dad and this bright light 💡 shine upon, which I captured video and this song came on my phone, I don’t have no music 🎶 on my iPhone 📱 because I refuse to pay for music. If you watched the Super Bowl 50 halftime show you'll realize how lousy music has become. The artists on stage for that halftime show couldn't open for U2, & that most assuredly includes Beyonce.

I’ve lived a very tiring crazy life. Done some bad decisions. I had choices and decided to enjoy the burning consequences. I was very tired and burnt out. I heard this song in 2014 I think. It appeared on my iPhone I never actually downloaded it. So strange it appeared in my music, I listened and “eyes that see right through me! Not afraid of anything I’ve seen”. I stopped on my tracks while walking the city. Continued to listen and this was Jesus talking to me. I felt like hiding. Felt ashamed. I could feel him. I felt so sorry Everything I’ve been instilled as a kid till my teens and even in my twenties I never stopped believing just, I’m a man. No excuses just I’m a wild man.
