What helped me putting them in is taking my laces out and putting them back in after my foots in the shoe, they're probably the best fitting and feeling Nike I've ever had
I have a few shoes on ice and started walking on my pair. They feel good and your foot feels locked in. I love ‘em. The sale hopefully makes it more accessible for people and they get hooked on it so it stays around for a while.
Her Chris, I totally agree these shoes are solid but they are wide and long. I have a super wide foot and still have some space in the front. Great review❤
In skating these rn and they are pretty nice . I like them super flexible and broken out the box . If you like stiff shoes I wouldn’t recommend these tho . I actually like the insole these come with .
I just got these recently because of their designs but they are so tight to wear probably because I have a wide foot. I hope it breaks in fast after a couple of wears for casual use which is the main reason I got them.
Imagine having to unlace a mid top shoe with shoelaces in order to get them on. It's not a slip in or a shoe with a quick lace system. It's a roomy shoe and the react insole (is super fricken cushy) makes up the entirety of the midsole, did you try stacking your thinner insole on top?
That is my point. I don’t like having to untie my shoes all the way to put them on. I wear the adidas form 84s a lot because they are a MID top and I don’t have to untie my laces. Insoles is not “cushy” at all for me. Shits thin AF. lol if your skating in them with low impact stuff then yeah it should be chill but if your planning on jumping down anything. Not good. And I don’t put mine on top. I don’t think there would be enough room. But I would try it if I was still skating them
@@christianflores I am not sure what pair of leo bakers you got man but my insoles are pretty fat like the vans cush ones in half cabs and feel great imo
please do dc court graffiks! also, this shoe reminds me of halfcabs because of their shape. when i first saw them online my first thoughts were that this is a nike halfcab.
besides them being a pain to get on I love these shoes thy have good board feel and I can wear them all day. I would say the rubber helps tehm last longer but yeah the flip tricks took a bit to get used to but once you get em down they are pretty great. I will say I do more vert skating so the issues wite=h the flip tricks arent a deal breaker to me
That insole is actually a drop-in midsole, so you’ll feel more impact in your brand. This wasn’t a good shoe to highlight your insoles. Cause it doesn’t have a real midsole.
Hm. What do you mean real midsole? The midsole is a “vulc” so it’s super thin. The insole it came with is that hard react insole. I just drop my insoles in almost all my shoes unless it’s built like a Tiago. lol
@@christianflores My bad, Chris. The brown suede pair she dropped last year is the same. Different color and materials. Looked like a completely different SNKR
I thought you might have had an oddly improved experience putting your slimmer insole in. I always consider doing the swap but yeah always ends up too much space in the shoe.
Yeah dude. Stock insoles in shoes sucks. lol. Unless it’s a 1010 or a 808. Or another shoe with a fat outsole. The insoles don’t really help. That’s why I made the insoles I use. Spent 2 years making it. Definitely going to use it. And that tells you if you like board feel then you will like the thinner shoes. So yeah . . But you right. Super pointless. Lol
Formerly known as Lacey Baker. They transitioned to a guy. They wanted Leo to skate the Olympics as a woman and Leo turned it down. Because they wanted to put him in with the girls. I didn’t know that either
Also shoes reminds me of a slimmer Omar Salazar Nike sb from years ago
Ahhh. I never seen that one let me google it.
Oh yeah. It looks like those a little.
Came here to comment the same thing!
Skate 3 😩
I knew Leo’s shoe reminded me of another shoe. Honestly, Leo’s shoe is low key a sleeper pro model.

Interesting. Do you have a wide foot?
This shoe is underrated, I'm glad people were able to get them on sale

Got mine for $45, best skate shoe I've ever worn.
I was curious about this shoe. They look funky in the pictures but they look dope on feet. Glad you didn't give up on em. Thanks for the review. 👍
Yeah dude try them. But try them on first I would say.
Survived that nollie flip tho!
I’m going back for it! Haha
Finally! Been lookin forward to another new review from CF.
Yeah G! More coming.
Video production & quality are really stepping up dude. Nice work

Thanks for watching it dude! Yeah they ended up being good when I got use to them.
Dude, your reviews are the best!!!!
Thanks G. Tell the homies! Haha I’m trying to grow this channel.
Thanks for the discount! Just bought the insoles!
Review the Tyshawn 2’s next
How do they feel ?
Could you try new balance 440 highs next?
Bro!!! Can you make it so us European can order some of your products? I've been waiting for years!🙃
I like the look of them, though I’ve never really been crazy about Nike in general
upped for the cumbia track
Good review
Dope review
Thanks G

Nice. And yeah they were a little too thin for me. Thanks for that thoughtful comment!
they look so clean, ngl
Yeah I liked the all white ones better but don’t have them though.
From what you said they seem Overall very similar to the new Ishod Max and I am hating those shoes. I think I ll stick with NB 1010 in the future
I just got these recently because of their designs but they are so tight to wear probably because I have a wide foot. I hope it breaks in fast after a couple of wears for casual use which is the main reason I got them.
Oh yeah. Most nikes. SB nikes, are pretty slim.
@@christianflores Never knew that 😓

Fair enough!
Im usually between 8.5 or 9. What should i go with since the toe box is wider on this shoe?
the best end ever 😄👍
They pretty good.
The "I watched the video" code (minus the quotes) is no longer working. Is there a new one?
These felt slimmer and shorter compared to my Nike's... I tried down half a size and it was sooooo narrow.
Can you show us a cut in half of the Leo?

Nice style.
You should review the audazo x numeric shoes at some point ,, maybe?
Yeah maybe!
Isn't this her 2nd silhouette?? She reminds me so much of Matt Hensley!
Is it? I looked but i didn’t see anything.
*they
😂They remind me more of a younger Geoff Rowley
@@christianflores My bad, Chris. The brown suede pair she dropped last year is the same. Different color and materials. Looked like a completely different SNKR
True to size?
where can we cop the pants 👀
Idk. I think forever 21 lol.
How’s the ankle protection/support?
It’s super loose. Not really a lot of support. Good point I should have brought that up.
Sorry I wanna ask, can I wear it to club or for outing
Yes
That Mexican ot instrumental in the background?
Haha. I liked it.
Adidas Tyshawn 2 next.
Just bought some.
Please make a tyshawn remasterd review
There at Ross now for 35$!!
DUDE no way.
Globe encore review next? 🙃
Haha maybe. Fat boys!?!
Nike built this shoe using the Jordan 1 last
Emerica winkoski next please
Looks like they did the style of the vans sole the wafflecup
Haha. Maybe. Simone told me that they were an old Nike. Omar
The way they fit made me dislike the Leo bakers but maybe I’ll give them another shot
Yeah it take a bit to get use to them but they do end up feeling good.
I’m interested in the insoles
Go check them out! 👊
5:12 ouch 😂
Yeah is that the nut smash. It was super close. But thank god I’m good. Haha.
nike sb halfcab
lol. Yeah.
You took the drop insole out.
I thought you might have had an oddly improved experience putting your slimmer insole in. I always consider doing the swap but yeah always ends up too much space in the shoe.
@@TheSwiddyReport There is enough room to stack an insole on top of the react insole as there isn't really a mid-sole the react insole is 'the shoe'
Yeah it felt weird for a few minutes but I got use to it.
I thought I was the only one having trouble putting them on because I’m chubby.
Na G! They a struggle!
I bought the shoe and the first trick i did was sex change.
cut it upppp
I’m kinda down. I don’t think I’m gonna skate them anymore.
You take the insoles out of almost every shoe which largely makes reviewing them pointless.

Speaking of... will there ever be a restock of large ones??? I'd really love to buy a pair but my feet too big 😭😭😭
I always thought these look like knock off nikes idk y
lol.
I find it weird she has a sponsor still have seen stuff qll from her
these are just mid at best
I kinda a grew. They end up being good.
Who tf is Leo Baker?
Lacey baker, she wants to be a man but if she was a man she would not be good enough to be sponsored
