It really helped me alot understand how the quadlock worked, if it would fit, where it could be mounted and the upclose video of the pieces and parts. I went ahead and spent the extra money for the vibration dampener after your tip :) and look forward to mounting it on my 2023 Honda Monkey so I can really get out and do some serious exploring!!
I decided to hold off on getting the wireless charger for now because I am a little concerned with the monkeys ability to charge the phone at idle. I would like to do a little research to see if the (Charging / Not Charging ) might damage the sensitive electronics in the phone and / or its battery. I am not a battery expert or electrical engineer but I had always thought that every battery has a finite number of charging cycles whether its a full charge or not so I am going to hold off on it for now to see what sorta info I can dig up. I am guessing that we wouldnt see that sort of behavior if we were talking a larger displacement motorcycle.@@monkeyfever
No, I never did, but it doesn’t seem to be much of a parasitic draw, because I haven’t had any problems starting it up. I believe it turns off after awhile, because the blue light is not on the next day.
@@machyne82 when I went to Sturgis, the charging head died. Back in June 2024, I bought a new red Quad Lock charging head that has a 3 amp fuse and it is hardwired. So far, it has been good.

You could have just grounded it to the horn ground nut and attached the power to the headlight 12v. That way it would turn off when you shut the bike off.
@@monkeyfever you might think about seeing if there's an affiliate link to the parts you use. That way you can post where to get the parts for the mods and get a little commission.

Ehi mate nice video. Did you ever figure out how to turn off the blue light? My Monkey does the same with the wireless charging kit
