Wow. Beautiful guitars and beautiful playing. I’ve been playing for about 5 years and never even heard of Boucher guitars, so when I stumbled on your videos and saw my last name in the title I had to check it out!! Subscribed.
I can hear what you mean about the sound coming off the back compared to the rosewood model. I think the rosewood has more bass and maybe more reverb, but the maple gives it a really flat EQ. I'm hoping to try one sometime!
Wow. Roger, torified back, thats unreal. I wonder how long b4 other luthers catch on. Sounds fantastic to me. I wonder what Rosewood, and Mahogany would sound like torified
Hi Roger. I have the serial number before your ME-1045 (mine is ME-1044) and also with torrified top and torrified Canadian Curly Maple back & sides (CS-SG-61GI). I love this guitar and it being all torrified, it’s super stable and and sounds like a dream. Regards, Roger Boudreau.
That’s an incredibly responsive guitar. The kick from behind just shows how torrefied maple along with master grade adirondack top works to give extra depth. Lush and balanced. Too much to describe, but overall the ultimate guitar I think. If I could pay one off I’d buy it.
Roger, I recently watched a Cormier video where he was at your store, and you demo'd a guitar and played one of your own compositions called reaching. Would you demo that song? It was a very beautiful and colourful piece, I'd love to hear it on one of the finger style guitars that would best represented, and be represented by that song. Thank you!
Hi Seth. Thanks so much for your comments. I am glad you liked the tune I played. I have a full instrumental CD that is just a few weeks away from being released and I plan to do several performance videos of these tunes. I will keep you posted! Cheers, Roger
Every time it happens. They demo these guitars in open tunings. Of course they are going to sound full and large. So if the instruments full potentiol is stifled when it is held against your body ,how do you get it to fully resonate standing up playing with a strap.
Both sound amazing the maple is a little brighter however I prefer the more balanced softer tones of the Red Spruce. again there Boucher all sound amazing....
hello Roger! Love your playing! Bob Wallis from Arkansas here ... I'm learning your demo groove and calling it Rogers Medley... I've noticed the picks you are using on your fingers (right hand) that look like press on nails?? If I'm seeing that right tell me about them!
The corner of the side table was giving me anxiety- two absolutely gorgeous looking and sounding guitars.
About where the scratches on my Boucher are.
Love watching all the Brickhouse videos with Roger! Awesome way of explaining things and the Boucher's are certainly heavenly!
Hi Paul. Thank you kindly! Cheers. Roger
Keep the videos coming! Your playing is so expressive and calming!
I will take both. Thank you, Sir.

This has to be the most beautiful sounding acoustic guitar I’ve heard in a long time.
I completely agree!
Both are stunning!
Great review! Thanks for the demonstration and information.
My pleasure! Chers. Roger
That's a coincidence, I just had a discussion with Brandon Acker about how important the back being free is to the tone and projection of guitars.

Wonderful brand of guitars. Great playing

That's awesome. Congratulations! Truly these are extraordinary guitars. Cheers. Roger

Yes indeed!
Absolute wow for sure.

The 12th fret rosewood sounds gorgeous in it's even keel character? But the Maple beauty is so beautiful ❤
Yeah the first one is amazing hope they will make me one left handed 👍🏾
Something says this man loves the sound produced by a good accostic guitar. It's really pretty close to Heaven.
Beautiful!

This guitar DOES have Red Spruce...for the top. The maple is the back and sides of the body.
Amazing!!
Wow. The brightness of the maple just jumps out, compared to a red spruce top
Thé grand piano of guitar
What tuning is that?
Roger knows how to demo guitars.... however now I want both guitars. If I get divorced I'm blaming Roger!
Free doghouse plans included!
@@BrickhouseGuitarsKitchener Hey seriously this demo inspired me to order one of these from our friend Bill in Buffalo!! I may need those plans!

❤thats alot of music coming out of two guitars😅
Unbelievably big for a smaller guitar.
Needs tuning
