It was lovely see you again here on UA-cam, Sandy. I hope 2025 will bring you joy and fun projects like the Shrug Season KAL. It is a great idea! Happy knitting 😊
Good morning from a very stormy Scotland. We’re just in the process of changing the wall colours in our 200 year old cottage, we’re changing from creams and whites to deep reds (Chelsea red) and deep greens (Fertile Fern)…it’s making the old cottage feel warmer and cosier. As an introvert I love January and February, reading or knitting by the log burner is my favourite thing….I’m trying to reduce social media scrolling this year and it’s working, I’ve read 6 books already in January! I love your slow, gentle style Sandy, so calming and comforting….a belated Happy New Year to you ❤
So sorry about the spoiler! I didnt know the third book is out. I enjoy my crafting time in the early morning. I am an early bird so that is the best time for me and its a great way to start the day! I am and knitter and crossstitcher. Also l9ve to read so my days are full. I enjoy all your videos.
I appreciate your podcast. I loved the advent you received. I’m making Helen Stewart’s Anthology throw. My first knitted blanket. I too enjoy the shrugs. So freeing to combine colors. 🌸
Up at 5:30 am and came on to find you back, so happy to see you again. Im hibernating from snow and ice in SC - can you believe it!!! Horrors- this Boston girl moved away from snow, I thought!! Because the last snow was 2018, they dont have plows and we have to stay home, they cancel everything - and wait for things to get back to warmer and melting happens.-this time, the temps are very low so, I have been buried for 3 days, - loving it actually. Lots of reading. Right now Im reading “the Story of Lucy Gault” by William Trevor - an Irish writer. Welcome back!!!
Fun podcast Sandy. Loved the CYA unveiling. So pretty. The Shrug KA sounds like fun. I’m also trying to “go slow” in 2025 and not CO everything I see- so we’ll see! I’m going to shop in my stash and finish WIP’s. A good and ambitious idea for this year. You’re my inspiration for the journey.
Great to see you again, Sandy! The Chelsea Yarn Adventure was gorgeous!!! I may have to join your Shrug KAL! I like ve your accent wall color! This last summer we painted our whole house inside with Sherwin Williams Gray/Blue colors. So pretty! My husband is a retired painting contractor and he was shocked at how much we had to pay for the paint. I said “I told you Sherwin Williams was expensive without your contractor discount!” 🤪 🌻
Wonderful to see you again, I’m still catching up with your Vlogmas and it’s such a treat 😘
