    to add while its true that people can better understand anxiety now, a study on genz kids showed that kids these days also go through what they call crisis fatigue which is the cause of being over connected to the world globally, always being exposed to crisis news, where as children before were limited to whats going on on their community / region - it could add the that burden huhuhu :> ❤ love the podcast!

    I love this episode so much. I guess everyone can relate including me. Every now and then, we want more. It’s always us who put too much pressure on ourselves, our future. We always forget to live in the moment. I agree with Kryz when she said “being offline” helped her a lot. What we see in social media sometimes makes us strive more, we want to do more, be better, without realizing we’re pushing ourselves to the point it’s not mentally healthy anymore. Being appreciative with I have now, and just trying to live in the moment made me realize I am already more than blessed. Less worrying, more appreciating. 🤗

    This relates to the Law of Averages tackled in so much detail in the book "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living" by Dale Carnegie

    I remember watching a vlog of a doctor who said Anxiety shrinks our world.
    Whenever we say yes to that anxiety, it feeds on that and grows more on us.
    One thing that can help us with anxiety is to expose ourselves to it and not avoid it like public speaking. Try to do it in front of the mirror first, then in front of your mom or your siblings or boyfriend.
    By doing so, it will open up our world little by little, and in no time without even noticing it, that anxiety will become one of your greatest strengths.
    But of course, you need to know what are the things you are anxious about because not all anxiety can be treated this way.
    Big hug to all of us who are anxious about our future 🫂
    It's gonna be okay. 💕

      QUARTER LIFE CRISIS IS FUELED BY COMPARISON. DONT COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS. BE HAPPY AND CONTENDED ON WHAT YOU HAVE AND BE EXCITED ON WHAT YOU WILL BECOME.

    I watched in another podcast na anxiety and depression can be related to what we eat. Like sugar. Sobrang unhealthy na ng food and lifestyle nowadays. 😢

    My boomer parents says: "itawa mo lang yan" "wala lang yan" invalidating my feelings, then when its too late they'll just recommend to go to a psychologist even tho its their fault in the first place 🙃🤡 im a millenial btw not genz

    • @monkeyboi84
      @monkeyboi84 7 місяців тому +7

      "Itawa mo lang yan" has a different effect on me, it made me tougher. As i grow older, i learned that our parents are having bigger problems because they are carrying the whole family. We always push our problems to them, not knowing how heavy the weight they already have. A "me" problem should be solved by "me" as much as possible.

    • @ciscasaclang3378
      @ciscasaclang3378 7 місяців тому +2

      Good for you then. Some things are laughable and some are not. Yes "me" problem is them providing for the family the parents built cause theyre the one who had sex and made babies, so they should not pass the financial burden to their kids

    • @monkeyboi84
      @monkeyboi84 7 місяців тому +2

      @@ciscasaclang3378 im just thankful that i have parents. If i can ease their hardships, then im glad to do it. They cant continue to send me to college? I worked and got my diploma. Were they happy? I think they are proud. Its also hard for the parents to see that they cant provide enough for their children, how they wish they could give more. I could have just moped around and blame them that they are useless and cant provide me, but is that the right thing to do?

    • @ciscasaclang3378
      @ciscasaclang3378 7 місяців тому +3

      The right thing to do for me is family plan. If you know you wont be able to handle the financial end of things then dont make more babies, "its fun when the family is bigger, when there are babies" yes theres a point to that, but be realistic and consider finances and stuff before having sex and making more babies

    • @ciscasaclang3378
      @ciscasaclang3378 7 місяців тому +4

      I believe every child wants to ease the hardship and give back to their parents. What im saying is parent's rubbing it more in their kid's faces to repay and pressure them
      We all have different family set-ups so we cant generalize whats happening at home

    People wont admit it, new generation is getting soft and over sensitive. Even talking about this topic triggers them.
    "Maybe" it started from birth, because new parents dont want their children to suffer or experience the "bad" things they had before. But those "bad" things are the reason we became tougher. Kids these days dont even know how to cross the streets until 12 yrs old, while we commute from school since 6-7yrs old. Children these days are pampered more then the previous gens. Thats why they are so soft and feel they are special and worse, entitled.
