First, when you run the disk I/O Benchmark, It is possible to tell sysbech in which directory to put the test files? Are the test files generated by the disk I/O benchmark deployed only in the directory where the sysbench or the script is executed? Does locate in a specific directory the test files generated by the disk I/O benchmark makes any sense? Second, if I'm benchmarking a LVM disk, Does benchmarking any of the Logical volumes in the volume group give me an accurate outlook for the performance of the whole physical volume?
