When I get mine I'm going to see how the texture works for me, and if I have a problem with it I'm going to send it to a company that adds texture to pistol frames to see what they can do

@RedPillAlways I love the encouragement but some things some people just don't wanna touch. To be fair I wouldn't wanna take the chance at messing up a 70 dollar screwdriver
if you use it with "dirty" hands the handle actually builds up a "less smooth" surface i used mine every day for as long as it had been out i just switched jobs so i use it less but i can feel the difference in the one i kept at home
My biggest complaint is probably the ninja star. It's sorta just redundant as their smaller bits fit just the same whether it's spun underneath or not.
You clearly know nothing about what an OEM actually is if you said these words. The only relation LTT and megapro have in regards to the screwdriver is LTT has to pay MegaPro for the ratchet design because megapro is the patent holder on that ratchet. None of this screwdriver is manufactured in any megapro factory (and in fact, I don't even think megapro has factories)
@@the_undead thats nice, but having held both the MegaPro one handles almost the same as the LTT one for 25-30$. the gearbox is slightly different and there's no knurling, that's basically the entirety of the major functional differences
@@w4drone720 If you're telling me the handle is the same on both of those screwdrivers You are not someone who actually understands what you are talking about, and your opinion on this subject is about as valuable as a 5-year-old trying to give someone shop tips
@@the_undead when did i say that? the housings are entirely different both in material and shape? the only point im trying to get across is that the megapro one is extremely similar for like half the price
Yup, the grip is not the best, also far from the worst, and the magnet is both nice and strong and sometimes too strong, but the ratchet is the best. Costs quite a bit, they're a small company, not selling the number Snapon etc. sell so cost is high.
Its literally the same mechanism as the full sized just with a shrunken shaft and handle. It even came in the top 3 or 4 for Project Farm's stubby reviews
Well that’s done on so you can be just like Linus - always dropping things.
Hahaha excellent point!
Hahaha good one
nobody talking about how close you were to shorting the positive from the psu to the grounded frame...
Eagle eyes this one has
Not only that but that magnet this close to a circuit board…so many relays in those things.

I stipple my own guns.. it's a plastic handle easy to stipple yourself and create your own grip

The slippery finish is actually because Linus slips his screwdriver into his pocket.
if you don't like that
Grip tape is an option.

Im 99% certain the slippery finish was the exact reason linus didnt want to do the black version
I have the Megapro driver that was the OEM for these. I love it, and it has rubber parts for better grip
They only based their design on Megapro one, they weren't a real OEM in this case.
@@JGnLAU8OAWF6the ratcheting mechanism is based on the MegaPro iirc, but they made some modifications
The magnet problem. Just use two hands. One on the handle and the other on the shaft to stabilize.
Agreed but that’s not always possible
No other screwdriver has this issue.
i am an arm amputee who is now butthurt
Nice black shaft dude

Plastidip or sugru
Stipple the handle.. I stipple my own guns that need it.. So you can make you own grip
