Pedro's effectiveness in open play has improved exponentially, and the footballer we hoped for is now on full display. If he continues to develop at the rate he is... we have a real winner on our hands. His run along the 18 yd line in the Spurs game, and inch perfect pass to Jack H was sublime
tbf Gravenberch missed an open goal as well. A draw is probably fair About Pedro he missed a few against Luton Town but nerves on debut so I don't put too much on it as we bested them. Other than that Pedro has more than made it up for it with his ability to win penalties, convert them, and his ability in open play (especially operating in tight spaces, he's one of the best on the team).

Maybe if Onana was rescuing points for United every week the way Alisson often does for Liverpool, he would be given the benefit of the doubt sometimes. Instead, Onana as it stands can't even save a Word document.

Brighton were really good in this game, and you could argue they deserved all the points. They did get extremely lucky with the foul for the penalty though. Gross should have had a red card for denial of a goal scoring opportunity. With no intention to play the ball, he would not have been saved by the double jeopardy rule.
Baleba is better than Dahoud or any defensive midfielder... Brighton lost a lot of points due to Pedro's poor finishing and selfishness..That guy shouldn't even be in the first line up..Dunk made lots of errors in a game as usual except One brilliant equalizer.. This stupidity of keepers playing from the back must stop. They keep gifting goals after goals. A keepers job is to prevent balls from entering the net. Period. Now every manager wants a ball playing keeper, why don't the managers get midfielders in the goal post so they pass ball well. Red card all day for gross, it’s a clear opportunity for Szobozslai when gross pulls him down making no attempt to play the ball. I don’t know why the referees are against Liverpool this season, but Chelsea, Spurs, Villa and now Brighton games we have been screwed over by the dodgy officials and yet they continue to get away with it. The game has lost its integrity, are the referees even paying attention to the game? It appears that they are not and it’s costing teams points every single week. Maybe klopp upset them when calling out Paul Tierney and now the referees are in kahoots to go against Liverpool and not referee their games fairly.
