Thanks for being of service!! You da man… watch your UA-cam everyday for awhile now, changed my perspective bc I was always playing the obvious/consensus before, wondering why it always was getting smoked 😂

The most underrated part of this interview is when Jason talks about living below his means. For my younger friends our there...PLEASE do yourselves a favor...Shut down social media, stop buying crap you don't need. Save!
Most "traders" on finance podcasts nowadays are either full of crap and/or one-hit wonders and I understand to keep channels interesting to the masses, you need a constant supply of people to interview. If you don't have years of experience losing your own money, trading different market environments, making your own money, trying different approaches, etc. Then you have no business advising aspiring traders how to trade. That's what sets rare interviewees like Jason apart from the 99% of junk interviewees out there. He has been there and done that and for those trading their own funds (market wizards aside), you can tell he is the real deal, as there was relatively little talk on strategy but more on psychology, discipline and the mundane nature of trading which is most important. Thank you for the interview.
refreshing to get insights into someone who actually trades fora living ..not pop a few wins and tell everyone about it. One thing I've realized is overtime is if you love money too much you wont succeed in trading.
200M verified track record man is just crazy ! Experience matters for sure and sharing that kinda knowledgeable for free on the podcast helps people ! We grow together 🔥💪💪
Probably the best podcast with a real trader I’ve ever seen and I’ve been trading for 8 years. Completely changes you as a person. Stay focused brothers and sisters💪🏽📈
one of the realest and best episodes on the podcast space. listened to this way more carefully than the other smc traders on youtube. real ones know... #mindset
The advice to "get a job or go to uni while learning to trade" is obviously smart-but funny enough, it’s almost always from people who did the exact opposite. It also ignores how demanding a 9-to-5 or degree is. You don’t just "do it on the side," the same way non-traders think they can just "trade on the side." If you want to excel at anything worthwhile, it can’t be a side hustle. It has to consume every fiber of your being. Sure, having a fallback feels safer. But it can lower your odds of success: - Always a reason to postpone working on your skills that don't immediately get you paid. - Always tired after work. - Always other stuff demanding your attention. Balancing two demanding jobs is exponentially harder than doing one-no matter the potential benefits. Highlighting the upside without acknowledging the obvious trade-offs misses the bigger picture.
Jason, the Legend. The common habits I have similar to him is Trading counter trends and make massive returns while others are fearful, and hopping. To be a great trader, you must be courageous.
Not really. Change is my trend. I basically react to the market conditions than to predict the market @@beam3036more of a swing style riding from the top,or bottom and change my mind when market changes as well.
For the first time I watched someone and believed what he says. Selling no course, but making millions in trading. That's what aspiring traders need, not these marketing UA-camrs.
Nice to see you here Jason! Love both of your content, especially Jason in this interview showed a side I didn't know ....especially the hardship at that point 38y with a family to take care of, which is my exact point right now...working my way out of this situation now having a full time job and trading less (on HTF), with less pressure, hopefully will bring me where I want to be in a few years!
Thanks for sharing this conversation, which I found to be very valuable, genuine and at times personal. There is something about his age that adds significant value to this content.
Thats what reality is... which we never got from 22 - 30 years old "gurus" on this POD... cuz no one or rarely anyone talked about, struggles having kids, family, working jobs even if you make same money trading. I'm turning 36 this year and I'm not willing to quit on trading. EVER! Like Jason said, first you wanna be a billionaire, but @ this stage all I really want to.. is have bills paid and be able to take my family on a trip not worrying how we gonna make it form paycheck to paycheck. When I hit 1 mill, thats still same thing I care about. Family first, good health, bills paid, less stress ....and maybe just maybe lil better car. Thanks Jason, thanks Riz
To Jason's point about being dedicated to something to get good at it, I think that if you naturally love something, it's not an effort to just do that thing for 8 hours a day, you don't even think about it, you just do it incessantly because you love it.
A man, after my own heart, given that I, too, "have this thing that nobody has" which is what gives me, too, an "Édge". Always going against the trend, doesn't win any popularity contests, yet " people want to give me money, despite my personality quirks" and as you said yourself " lotta politics... lotta money". Further, given the potential for " Boom and Bust", and my being a " one man operation" who is taking on " no more clients", the Time is here, as is the Confirmation, particularly given the " track-record", and with ICT, being what it is, lets have " that meet up", to Bridge the gap.
Great as always. Recently I've been more conscious of my win rate and working to increase while keeping R the same. Really interesting to hear someone at this level is more than comfortable with around 40%. Separately, You're looking trim Riz keep up the great work 💪
I’m super excited to be part of this community! It’s great to tune in, learn, and gain valuable insights to improve both our trading strategies and psychology.
I was just reading his part in the book market wizards, to see him a couple days later on a podcast made it 10 times better! His behavior compared to most young traders shows he’s is a true veteran, no yapping and acting like a bigshot. A professional that enjoys the craft even after 30 years 💪🏻
Incredible interview seems like a genuine person, I will say his point about income doesn’t apply to most countries, here in Australia wages for qualified professionals are really low unless you spend decades working your way up. Many lawyers here make about $55k USD a year which is barely enough to survive, unless you’re a surgeon or you’ve secured a very senior role somewhere incomes are super low. Even a modest trader making small gains can out earn most professions here, I know America is different but it doesn’t apply to most countries.
Experience matters for sure 30+ yoe is something we learn online through UA-cam . Thanks again for the upcoming wonderful podcast we love your podcast Rizdom as always ✨✨
thank you for this podcast. i request you to also do a podcast with amrit saal he is also in that book the unknown market wizard and there is nothing about him on the internet so you will become the first person.
I got from Jason that he is excited to trade at swing points, rather than waiting 3 to 4 months. He plans to book profits at the middle level of his target and use❤
#Disagree When Riz bro said he dropped out of university for trading, Jason disagreed, saying it wasn’t a good idea. For example, Jason didn’t like working in an office and didn’t get promotions, so he decided to focus on trading. Now Jason is a billionaire. real talk of trading. I would say no. not everyone can be trader. but anyonne can trade, only very few can trade for living. that person has the right personality to do it. not about technical skills. is about their mindset
I think the fact that he's featured in the market wizards book is more than enough verification. Jack makes them provide every type of proof you could imagine including tax returns, and years of broker statements.
🤣😂🤣😂😂 Man if you go down the block & pass your ex house. 5 down lights down, hit a right on WHERE IS YOURS MILL AT!? An a quick left on YOU A LIE street!? You might just find his record 😂🤣 the light is called, experience 🙏🙌 & wiz got the recordslilL WE NEED HERE MI AMIGO ✌️
I used to work a 9-5. I hated working 8 hours a day plus commuting time. I got into trading to work less and have more free time. I now trade for a living and work 18 hours a day.
Verified track record says it all💯 Can't miss episode I need to learn how this market wizard found his feat in one of the most complicated career. Notes✍️✍️✍️
Be cynical and patient. Understand yourself and your characteristics as a trader!!! Absolutely incredible insights and so fascinating how his mindset is 🤯🤯🧠🧠🔥🔥
Now compare this trader managing 9 figures vs. your famous gurus like RAULLAMBO !!, who have nothing to show except his Bugatti Chiron that only God knows where he got it from. 😂 I'm glad Riz is finally making the decision to toughen it up, and only real players are allowed to be on the podcast.ITS ABOUT THAT TIME ,FR!!

They’re “gurus” not UA-camrs 😂😂
okay africa629👍
I respect the hell out of this guys honesty and giving real world advice instead of a bunch of hype smoke mirror bs that so many does on social.

He did an amazing job, so much to learn!

The one on the best episodes i have listen to
Living the dream, his wife is a preschool teacher and they value the decades of work he put in. ❤
The best interview on your podcast till date... pls bring verified genuine real traders like him....

I remember reading his interview in Market Wizard because it resonated with me the most. Seems like a well grounded guy who is very very successful
Jason Shapiro, knocking down the myths that surround trading. And we love him for it 🥰🥰
My favorite wizard by far
Podcast taken to whole nother level seeing this guy on a podcast
A man, after my own heart, given that I, too, "have this thing that nobody has" which is what gives me, too, an "Édge". Always going against the trend, doesn't win any popularity contests, yet " people want to give me money, despite my personality quirks" and as you said yourself " lotta politics... lotta money". best guest so far!!!! ...... please try to find Ahmad Danial,..... he is something extremly interesting!!!
I was just reading his part in the book market wizards, to see him a couple days later on a podcast made it 10 times better!
His behavior compared to most young traders shows he’s is a true veteran, no yapping and acting like a bigshot. A professional that enjoys the craft even after 30 years 💪🏻
And this Rizz..... is more like it. Haha nice one bro, took it up NOTCHES! Credit to you. Keep sourcing these guys.
I appreciate that, thank you for tuning in! I promise I have a lot more of this coming through! 🚨

This show is on another level great seeing a contrarian wiz , I feel more confident taking these trades but result are not so great yet .
Getting ICT on this podcast would Blow up the Internet.
Experience matters for sure 30+ yoe is something we learn online through UA-cam . Thanks again for the upcoming wonderful podcast we love your podcast Rizdom as always ✨✨

"Just by having no debt is an edge." This guy is an expert.
great interview. now get the other Market Wizards on please....!
Great vid guys. Biggest takeaway is discipline, disipline and discipline.
thank you for this podcast. i request you to also do a podcast with amrit saal he is also in that book the unknown market wizard and there is nothing about him on the internet so you will become the first person.
Gosh ❤ This talk with Jason is very inspirational.
Jason Shapiro is awesome
Nice to hear from who seem to be a very down to earth guy!🔥 200mil is crwzy🔥🙌🏻

Thank you Jason! I’m a big fan. You are someone I look up to as a trader.
I'm in this process that JS is talking about, the universe aligned me to see this podcast at this time that I did, IAGMI.
Awesome episode!!
May HaShem protect this man! Such an inspiring individual.
Phenomenal job! I love Jason! Unknown market wizards traders coming? Peter Brandt next? :p
Now that would be telling 😉
real talk of trading. I would say no. not everyone can be trader. but anyonne can trade, only very few can trade for living. that person has the right personality to do it. not about technical skills. is about their mindset
Trading against the trend is different than Counter Trend trading. I believe Jason is counter trend trading which he spot reversal
Best one so far.
Can't wait to watch this episode
The way he explain how his life is around trading this is what Anthony Kreil said ! Very similar idea 💡
Words of wisdom spoken here 👏🏼
He is just a ChillGuy
I got that reference.
He is indeed 🙏🏽
Where can we see his track record?
I think the fact that he's featured in the market wizards book is more than enough verification. Jack makes them provide every type of proof you could imagine including tax returns, and years of broker statements.
His record is in the unknown markets book updated edition. He avgs around 15% per year.
He also posts a UA-cam video every 6 months showing his trades and progress for the year. Only been doing that for the last 1.5 years or so though
🤣😂🤣😂😂 Man if you go down the block & pass your ex house. 5 down lights down, hit a right on WHERE IS YOURS MILL AT!?

Notes✍️✍️✍️
Where did you find it ? Can’t find publicly available audited records to substantiate claims of his past or present trading success
Great interview.
Great interview

Absolutely incredible insights and so fascinating how his mindset is 🤯🤯🧠🧠🔥🔥
Love watching Shapiro interviews, been subscribed to his channel a few years. Jason don’t give a fuck 😂 no fluff all prickly ha

WOW. in terms of life history and principles he is literally the same as ICT, he even looks similar
The price can move drastically base on participation.
I really like this video
riz why are you still promoting scamy alpha capital that bans winning traders
200M is insane verified
Watch Armani and DG sign Jason up for new clothing range trend setter.. The Contrarian Selection
Now that would be something 🤣
