As someone who has made a village in Rust, I experienced the same thing you did. New friends, backstabbers, building your home- it's a one of a kind experience. Well JLK needs to upgrade his stuff because the stuttering in the video and the blurred out POV of his video when playing with his character is just terrible. For the rest yeah it was good content again.
After 8 months of watching about 3 hours of DayZ a day - this sets the bar to an unbeatable level. An astounding story that just kept on giving, edge of my seat all the way. Bloody well done!

Not only is your quality great but you take us on these amazing adventures. This was like watching a movie. I was constantly rooting for you guys and sad when you had setbacks and probably just as excited for you in the end as you all were. Definitely gained a subscriber.
Although it ended like it did, it goes to show that not every story ends on a good note. Because he could have ended it after a successful counter raid and a successful raid and there it would have been. But he rolled with it exactly how it went on, and that’s what made this movie what it truly is, awesome.

I’ve been binge watching DayZ on UA-cam for nearly a month and I have to say this is the best video I’ve seen. The fact that you were able to pull this off on such a huge scale is amazing. Most of the time I’m left wanting when it comes to base building videos, because it almost always ends before you have a chance to defend a raid. Very cool that you had such a wide range of interactions. Looting, building, pvp, player interactions. Truly, great freaking job with this. I don’t even play DayZ.

I found you when I lost my job a month ago (a little less). I have watched just about all of your videos. This is by far my favorite. When you do these community type missions with players you arent super familiar with and you take on projects like building walls and villages, etc. I am taken back to being a kid again building forts with toy soldiers and Lincoln logs. I really appreciate your videos. I have trouble sleeping every night and am going through on of the hardest times in my life. Having this to watch on my laptop early in the morning, is the happiest part of my day. Thank you @JLK

a year later, this is BY FAR the best dayz video i have ever seen. i have never been more impressed with someone's accomplishments in a video game. i can only dream of doing things like this in dayz.
While there may have been a slight downhill in the content for the past few videos this was by far one of the best ones. This was a fuckin blast to watch and I hope it continues it get better and better. "Sometimes there must be low times to find the strength in content."

Instead of fortifying your village you opted for revenge, should have tried to smoke out the traitor with false information as a leader you made bad decisions as to why your village got raided. Welp next time, this was a dope video, an awesome story. I say try it one more time.

I've played this game a bit but was never able to devote this much time. I didn't realize how in-depth it is, but I can appreciate how much hard work that took. No doubt the initial rat probably helped them plan the raid and locate your main ammo dump. What a shame. Better vetting system perhaps.

Instead of fortifying your village you opted for revenge, should have tried to smoke out the traitor with false information as a leader you made bad decisions as to why your village got raided. Welp next time, this was a dope video, an awesome story. I say try it one more time.

I've played this game a bit but was never able to devote this much time. I didn't realize how in-depth it is, but I can appreciate how much hard work that took. No doubt the initial rat probably helped them plan the raid and locate your main ammo dump. What a shame. Better vetting system perhaps.
