Nice job🎉🎉
🙏
Scissors working extremely well when removing the leaves
Thanks, good idea but it will have to be relatively large scissors as the leaves are quite thick!
@@JMbackyardorchard I use a standard scissors ✂️
🎉🎉Awesome. Where are you?
Thanks. We are in Brisbane, Australia
@@JMbackyardorchard❤❤l come from Thailand
What is the type of soil did you use for it?
We used a top quality potting mix mixed with some course river sand!
How did you get so many pups
We think it is the variety and not anything special we did 🤔 We shall confirm in two years time after these pups themselves grow and fruit.
I was wondering the same thing 😅. I was counting them INCLUDING the crown on the pineapple. I have NEVER seen a pineapple with multiple crowns. I want this variety.
Not only WILL they fruit, they will also do it in much faster time than the crown will. ❤
What type/variety is your pineapple?
@@hugoh.9694 It is a F180 Pineapple!
Really inspiring! What type of soil is required to grow pineapples?
Thanks, that is very kind of you. With the pineapples, we use a good quality potting mix (70%) and some coarse sand (10%) to improve drainage and some home made compost (20%). I would also place drainage gravel at the bottom of the pot and a mesh cloth on top of the gravel before placing the soil. Good luck!
How long did it take to grow the pineapple?
2 years
@@JMbackyardorchard did you start off in a smaller pot?
@@johngrasso2843 Yes, we did and upgraded to the 52 litre pot after a year.
F180 ? Never hurt that term before
It is a variety sold by Daley's Nursery. See link www.daleysfruit.com.au/search.php?q2=f180+pineapple
