Man,goinga whole chapter without action really feels a bit like a low point after all the action we been getting. I also didn't like the chapter ending. For me it didn't give out a lot of new information just mostly confirming things and speculations or telling us things we already know. I hated that cliffhanger too. Just reveal to us the motives of the new ten tails clone first

@@landogideon it’s the same writer as Naruto. at least since around the Jigen/Isshiki/Baryon Mode stuff, Kishimoto is still writing the story working with Ikemoto on any necessary changes
Gender pronoun is more of english thing. I doubt if boruto actually revealed gender of his source in japanese cuz they most like use gender neutral pronouns.
