Lose your wings and whammo, your best tactical option is gone. Also I'm pretty sure Angels get their faced kicked in on the regular, we just get to *see* castiel do it. Significantly powerful demons, higher-tier angels, god, amara, leviathans, angels carrying large amounts of souls, witches, nephilim, the anti-christ... they're powerful, sure, but they very quickly get overmatched by some of the big bads. A lot of these are showtricks meant to shock and awe people, their actual combat powers are pretty simple and they have 0 creativity so even lower-tier demons can outfox them. The minute they lost their wings they lost their best combat option immediately.
I miss this Sammy. He truly was a complex and powerful character, struggling with his powers, trying to use his powers for good, the struggle to manage those powers - he truly was magnificent. His hulk like powers, even more powerful than the angels, combined with his hunter skills, combat capabilities and high level of intelligence - this is what it was all suppose to be about.

Kinda wish we got more of Cass and Jimmy interacting. A guy that devoted to God only to find out how different it was and Cass was probably more devote to God. Maybe they learned from each other.

I understand but his choices made him selfish at that time. It’s ironic when you think about this. Dean meets an Angel and does the right things (finds out he is destined to defeat Lucifer). But Sam is with a Demon & he goes to the dark side and does bad things.
I miss bad ass Castiel. They made him go so soft it's ridiculous. Then Jared being taught by a demon whose actually his wife. That's crazy as fuck. This show is my all time favorite show in the world.

Everyone talking bout cas being Weaker Here is why , for one he was tossed out of heaven and had his wings cut . Not to mention angels get their power from heaven and vice versa. In the beginning he was also working for heaven. When dean was tossed 5 years into the future cas was human because he was completely cut off from heaven. If the gorgi didn't feed off human souls they would also be human. Not to mention everytime cas got beat up it was from high level demons - death - arch angels . Even if he was at full power he would still get his ass beat
My thougths abouth season 4 : The first scene of Castiel is so god Misha Collins in one scene he already showed what he came from The episode for Dean back in time is one of my favorites for the season Young. JOHN and Mary is so good and return of Yellow eyes is great and this episode makes me get back to the future vibes Its Sad how Sam s powers were forgotten post Season 5 because its so coool Its controversial more i like the episode White and Black is preety fun Yellow Fever is one the most fun episodes in this season is one good episode for Andrew Dabb its weird The scene Castiel Meets Sam is so heartbreking The episode of the Ted is preety fun Is Weird how one the Raime Brothers include them One think is fun about episode 9 its Sam have sex for Ruby one Demon and Dean have sex on Ana one Angel One thing i forgotten about this season is Alastair have two actors (Because the second actor is the best) Without a doubt one of the most emotional scenes in the series is Dean talking about what he went through in hell, it's so moving that even the production staff got emotional Special after School is one of the episodes more undereted in the series its a great developed for Sam and is preety fun Honestly Alastair is one of the most undereted villains of the show One of the best ideas and concepts in supernatural is the supernatural books Writing for Chuck the God inself is so soo fantastic this idea Adam is the characther more forgetivell the show in my opinion The end of this season is perfect the betrayal of Ruby , Castiel United a team Free Will , the Death of Lilith and Ruby ,and Lúcifer Rising is one of the best season finale the series.

I’m gonna be honest season 4 was my least favourite season it just felt like filler sure the main goal is to stop Lilith from breaking the 66 seals but they’re never consistent with it there were like 2 or 3 episodes that focused on it ( the rising of the witnesses, the Halloween episode, where they stop Alastair from killing Tessa and a reaper) other than that they’re killing a rugaru, killing some ghosts, killing some ghouls that look like Adam and his mom, introducing chuck, Uriel killing angels and trying to bring lucifer back and learning about jimmy novak I mean I know you need a filler episode here and there but the seasons did as well but they remembered what the main goal was here there’s main goal but they forget it there were times where I was asking what the main goal was because Uriel was killing angels for lucifer and Sam and Dean found out they have long lost brother if you like it then that’s fine I’m not trying to force my opinion on anyone I’m just speaking my mind on what was in my opinion a lacklustre season
I’m probably in the minority here but I really don’t like season 4 for a couple of reasons 1. It feels like filler and the story doesn’t go anywhere I mean they’re main goal is to stop Lilith from breaking the 66 seals from setting lucifer free yet they rarely focus on it these are the only times they focus on it (rising of the witnesses,Halloween episode,killing death twice and the finale) other than its just ghost and monster of the week episodes you’d see in season 1. and we needed to introduce Adam who did absolutely nothing in this show I mean don’t get me wrong the episode point of no return is a great episode one of my favourites but outside of that he’s killed by some ghouls, resurrected,possessed by Michael,him sam lucifer and Michael go to hell and are locked in the cage and then he spends 10 seasons in the cage chucks breaks the doors open he opens the door to purgatory and then chuck kills him and Sam and Dean do not give 2 sh🐬ts like they’re brother just got killed by chuck and they act as if nothing happened like this season has a whole bunch of episodes that most of the time go absolutely nowhere like you have 22 episodes and you couldn’t of done something with them in relation to the 66 seals much like season 5 did with lucifer and his four horseman like a lot of episodes in season 5 had something to do with the plot it wasn’t just monster of the week episodes and then an episode related to the plot 2. Characters act stupid or do something that pisses me off Sam not only drinks demon blood but he’s trusting Ruby and the reason he gives is so f🐬cking flimsy so what if she saved your life she also didn’t bother telling you that Lilith was holding onto dean’s contract and she screwed the plan up and got Dean killed wether she was possessed by Lilith the whole time or not doesn’t change the fact that Sam should not be trusting this woman she lied to him about being able to save Dean from being ripped up by a hellhound and waits til the very last second to say anything about his demon powers and he doesn’t suspect that maybe just maybe she’s manipulating him like I know he’s pissed because he just witnessed his brother get mauled by a hellhound but if I was him I would be like “you lied to me and got my brother killed get the hell away from me before I stab you with your own knife” oh wait I forgot revenge is more important so in short Sam is an absolute moron and his stupidity pisses me off. Dean isn’t any better he makes little effort to convince Sam to give up on this revenge spree instead he ridicules him and just chooses to act like an asshole look I’d be pissed too if I found out what Sam has been doing but I would put in the effort to get him off the demon blood like drug addicts don’t instantly stop because you ridicule them or lock them in a panic room or treat him like vermin and throw him out of your life like Sam has his stupid moments in this season but Dean acting like an asshole doesn’t make it any better. Cas might be a new character in this season but he is not exempt from pissing me off he is just as stupid if not stupider than Sam he captures Alastair and believes that someone more powerful than Lilith and Alastair is killing the angels when he should know full well that another angel can kill an angel and he knows something that could help Sam and Dean and doesn’t bother saying anything because he doesn’t want to burn any bridges. I swear the only character that doesn’t act stupid or piss me off is Bobby in fact he seems to be the voice of reason half the time including in the finale when he calls Dean out on his bullsh🐬t And 3. The villains Lilith had very little impact as a villain and is barely in the season,Alastair is great but they wasted him, I hated ruby so much as a twist villain and uriel was f🐬cking stupid he wants to raise lucifer and he killed any angels that said no here’s an idea turncoat and join the demons they’re already trying to raise him why don’t you join them you do not make any sense and he just came off as a frustrated asshole as opposed to a villain If you like this season good for you I’m no position to force you to hate but when I binge watched this on Netflix 6 years ago this season was my least favourite
@@dianekennedy863 sorry force of habit to go off on a tangent but when I was starting to get into this show during my final year of high school in late 2014 and early 2015 I watched the show on Netflix to catch up on it and I really didn’t like season 4 I thought it was really stupid it’s not the worst season that belongs to the later seasons after season 11 because they ruined deans character and made him into an unlikeable jackass
