ABOUT BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" follows the exploits of hilarious Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his stoically ever-professional captain, Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), along with their diverse, lovable colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct. In this final season of the series, Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal lives and their professional lives over the course of a very difficult year.
Rounding out the ensemble is Sgt. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumera), who has a passion for organization and a weakness for dork dancing; Lt. Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), a mountain of a man whose most powerful muscle is his sweetheart; Jake's best friend and human puppy dog, Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio); and the incredibly secretive, tough-as-nails Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz). Also part of the Nine-Nine are veteran officers Det. Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) and Det. Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker), whose only skill as police officers is their ability to make a passable pot of coffee.
Created by Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" won the 2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Samberg). Emmy winner Braugher earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Capt. Holt.

Words can't properly express how much I miss this show.
It’s good it ended when the ACAB thing went big, otherwise the would-be seasons really would have been bad.
At least the ending was good and it finished the show off better than Game of Thrones.

One of the things I loved about this show is that they gave us what we wanted. They made us wait a little obviously but they didn’t try and “test” their relationship with anything like cheating or a break or anything stupid. Just let us share the happiness with them…

I think that honestly made their relationship stand out to me because it was nothing elaborate but something so normal to people who aren’t in love but in this context it was so much more than just a typo, it was when Jake knew he’d found his soulmate ❤

Jake being into Amy acting like a teacher and a real librarian, are just a couple of facts about how great their relationship was portrayed. We didn't need to see them kissing and smooshing booties every episode to know they love each other. As i always say, B99 gave us so much !!!
There was actually very few moments of that, yet we know how much Cpt Holt and Prof Kevin love each other, the same with Jake and Amy, Terry with his family, and Charles with his.
I love that he proposed with a heist, but i think it would have been completely awesome if he proposed the same exact way he "already" did for their first ever date after their bet :)
I've always loved Jake knowing exactly what would Amy get when she arrived home
You can see the first moment where Amy showed affection for Jake when they were in the electronics store in the pilot. When Jake is puppeting the teddy bear, a quick smile flits across Amy's face. She immediately bottled those feelings up, but they continued to grow until she couldn't contain them anymore & slept with Jake.
And all it took was 4 drink Amy

Fumero really blossomed as an comedic actress once Jake and Amy started dating. I think season 6 ended up being her best, personally.
I couldn’t agree more! Amy as a sergeant made the show so much more hilarious! I loved seeing her and Terry as a comedic duo
she was always super funny. She's very very beautiful and the fact she was amazingly funny really made her a great part of the show.

I'm not particularly a fan of romance but Jake and Amy are a big exception. In fact, I really look forward to episodes of them together. Really love the writing here.

Tying up holt was one of my all time fav ep but the child debate one was very casually written. Jake clearly had his reasoning for not being ready but Amy kind of blackmailed him with almost the threat of leaving. The writing didn't match their character at all coz Amy's the one always organized whereas Jake is the goofy man-child
