God Bless you John Force. I’m 67 yrs old and have enjoyed many years of watching you and your team race. I love all you guys and gals that do this but please stay safe. That’s what matters. You are the best in my book but you probably need to slow down and tad. Haha. Love and respect for all of the racing world.
I wrecked 2 weeks after you did John in a Blown funny car and went end over end and survived from having all my safety equipment on board. Thank for all your support.
15 years later … so glad John Force made it thru that.. and the voice he carries in NHRA … if there is one racer I could listen to for hours… It’s John Force.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Thank you for this video................I'm 73 and a life long fan of John......I'm in awe of the great strength I have witnessed from him and Ashley in this video..................God Bless..............
10 years since that day in Dallas, seems like it hasn't been that long. All the 16hr days in fire suits and helmets; traveling all over the country, a simple heart felt thank you from one of the PRO is much appreciated. Your Welcome John.
I hadn't ever seen this, or this side of Force - this is profound... He's right, I've been in that spot after 7 surgeries thus far, and in amputee wards every one of those times, I got lots of love & respect for him now that I never did before.
Just watched the 4 wide nationals in Vegas. Was about 5ft from John as he was talking to his family. I respected his privacy but wanted to thank him for a long career. I’m 72 and been a huge fan forever.
I remember hearing about John's crash in Dallas with Kenny Berstein in 2007 and I wasn't happy that my favorite driver had a crash that bad as I was told but thank God John was ok after the crash and he's still kicking butt in Funny Car today!
Get well soon people will need to take care of you and hearts and friends and family wishes you will be able to get back soon 🙏 are with you ❤️ 💙 ♥️ 💖 💗 God bless you and your family ❤❤
Mr John force thank you for the years of exciting racing get well soon thank for Ashley she as set the bar high for the future female racers she is ranked high as is Shirley cha cha Maldonado my prayers are with you your crew and family which are all the same thanx again Mr force
Looks like the pylon thrown by Bernstein’s car caused Force’s car to blow a rear tire and create the whole scenario. If safety is a focus, I have to ask, what purpose at all do those pylons serve. If they are a visual distance marker for drivers, they could be replaced with something else. Either paint or the rubber mounted plastic reflectors that stay stationary.
Well hes lookin good now...and back to kickin ass....he's still got a little limp but its nothin much....Ill tell you John is much more tougher than I could ever be.
Eric Medlen would probably still alive, and John never would have had this crash, if McKinney hadn't been building illegal frames with hardened tubing. The spec at the time mandated Condition N (normalized, unhardened) tubing. Robert Hight's car had the same failure, but lucky for him they caught between rounds and he was a no-show when it couldn't be fixed.
You know the man is made of Steel.. When he ask. Did I win? While you looking down at your legs femur bones sticking out! As I'm expert on breaking bones. I got the X-Rays to prove it!
wish he would retire now. Like Amato and Don Prudhomme did. He has nothing to prove. He was an awesome champ and always will be. But Force it is time to retire!

It takes a lot of guts and money to be in that profession. Great job on safety everyone.

Love him so much
Do they still have cones in between the lanes? Seems kind of dangerous.
He hit the wall at Virginia last Sunday he had a concussion
The plan sounds a bit jumbled.
Get well soon. I hope you make it back in 2018!
get well soon John!!!

John Force is the best
Is it just me , but it looks like the cones Bernstein hit is what caused that to happen?
Glad John is ok

@390851
Seriously?
Cbrplay I doubt you will get an answer from someone that commented 6 years ago....

This is the price you pay for glory. When you want to show-off at 300 MPH, you might pay a BIG price.
Ashley, obviously smarter than her Dad. Oh well.
You dont think he was on pain meds do ya
