Construction of this monument began on August 17, 1961 under the order of President Sukarno and opened to the public on July 12, 1975. This monument is crowned with flames covered with gold sheets which symbolize the fiery spirit of struggle. Visit Indonesia, start from Jakarta ... while you explore through out the corners of the second largest megacity in the world after Tokyo and reach the beautiful thousand islands at the northern tip of Jakarta Bay, you can leave 2 days to visit Bogor and Bandung .. I will share information links about those 2 cities. . The important think you must know is don't worry about how to get to and from Jakarta .. transportation is very easy and many choices according to your budget.
Yep, that's a really nice video to make you guys learn more about this great city. I actually don't really understand Jakarta atmosphere cause I don't live there. I live in a small town in Indonesia by the way. But my bros understand Jakarta as if they were born there. They've been working there, and yeah, for them Jakarta is a busy city and one of the best places in this country to do business and invest. But of course, as the capital, Jakarta has a number of negative points such as heavy traffic, flooding, and so on. This city is so something.
Jakarta has transformed into a developed and beautiful city since Mr. Anies Rasyid Baswedan administering the Capital city of Indonesia as the governor. We, the people of Indonesia wish mr.Anies to be the next president for our country..
In Jakarta you can spend your money for food. Start from 7000 idr(50 cent $)., Until 14 m idr (1000 $) for only one menu . There is no limit, depends with your budgets.

His belief was that life is like light or fire that should benefit others around us, the greater the benefits we can give, the better for all.

Strictly speaking, there is no priesthood in (mainstream Sunni) Islam. Like, there's no official way to become an imam (leader in prayers), you just have to be knowledgebale regarding the rules of prayers etc. We do have people who we call 'alim (plural 'ulama, literally "scholars") and also ustaz ("teacher") and da'i (preacher). The indigenous Indonesian term kyai ("respected person/thing") is also used for religious leaders in Java, especially if they are the founders of traditional Indonesian Islamic schools or pesantren. But all these titles are not formally given by some kind of religious authority, it's just what the people call them based on their apparent knowledge and piety. I myself have become an imam for Friday prayers (akin to Sunday mass in Christianity) since I was in highschool. Then again, Islam is a very diverse religion. What I described above perhaps holds true for Indonesian Sunni Muslims, but may not be true for other denominations etc.
Quran is the guidance. The prophet Muhammad provide the examples from the Quran, and all hadith of what do's and don'ts were written also as guidance. It is also included in our school curriculum. taught at schools for Muslims and Non-Muslims if they wish to learnt but they are not forced
Of course in muslim we have leader to manage the Mosque and worshiper,he is call Imam All abrahamic religion is related way of life Thats miniature of borobudur ,budhist tample
For Islam, the person who lead the pray is Imam but those are preaching, tell story and teach us the value of Islam and how read Al Quran we called USTAZ for Men and USTAZAH for Women.

Yes, we do have religious teachers/gurus/leaders. And yes, there is a structure / system not unlike those you have in catholic church, where there is a hiearchy for this teaching .....But it is more loosely structure here in Indonesa' religious communities of Islam. For eg. in Central Java, the religious leaders, who are called "Kiyai' are normally the sons or the grandsons of known/famous Gurus in the past. These so called Gurus do not belong to formal positions etc. But their power of influence is huuge, ant it only comes from the respect they gain from their followers.....and these respects corelates positively with the degree on the level of scholarship (on the Islam knowledge, Islam teachings etc)....but also corelates proportionally with the degree people believe in their role modeling behaviour. These phenomenos are mostly evident in Central and East Java, amongst informal religious institutions (it's origin is more culturally based), or communities / eduction systems called "PESANTREN". The root word is "santri" which means more or less holy scholar. There are many religious formal education systems also, here, just like what we see in Egypt, Turkey et..... (it is the Al Azhar University that is very famous worldwide. Many Indonesians choose it for the reason that they are quite modern and scholarly, and is exposed also to the global education system). We have several famous religious (Islam I mean) universities in Indonesia, who draw students from other countries. And yes, these universities are quite modern and scientific and rationale in their studies, that's why -academic-wise0 these universities become quite respected in the regious. From these circles, emerged quite well known indonesian moslem scholars like Quraish Shihab, Kyai Mustofa Bisri etc. These religious leaders' introduced and encouraged rigorous intellectual discourses. That's why the practice of Islam in this part of the world is much more tolerant, peace loving, and scienfic - based. Hopefully this explanation suffice as a start. We really appreciate your reviews on many aspects of our country. God Bless.
therre is no priesthood in Islam, everyone has right to be a prayer leader as long as he has knowledge how to pray in proper way, even without leader, all muslim has obligation to pray alone.
