The Obamas have set a new standard in political oratory, with Barack in particular, being hailed as the greatest speakers in modern political history. It's really no surprise that many political leaders today try so hard to emulate his style from his deliberate pauses to his hand gestures and choice of words. His approach to communication, blending charisma, confidence, and mix it with clarity, has become a blueprint for effective public speaking in politics. I don't care which side your on but you got respect the oratory.
I'm from Venezuela and our universities have famously good debate teams. We always win tons of accolades in Harvard's circuit of Model UN competitions.
We are taught to mimic Obama in our speeches.

I grew up in Alabama, the daughter and granddaughter of sharecroppers. My grandparents fell for that tale as old as rich folks are evil: ‘so what if we’re poor, we’re still better than those (Black) people at the farm next to ours.’ My daddy went to college, the first in his whole family. He was drafted and fought. He then joined the military as an officer and made it his career. Traveled the world and learned people are to be judged by their actions alone. He and mama had us along the way; us siblings spread all across the country. Since the first time I heard Pres Obama speak, I could not get over the uncanny resemblance to my daddy. No, not in skin color- but the mannerisms, height, build, pattern of speech. In the wisdom and compassion they exuded to everyone - not just the people who could give something in return. I’ve never said this to my family, about how they remind me of one another. Daddy’s been gone almost 20 years; our family is split into those who stayed in the south & those who left. We are split right down the line on all the main issues of the day. If they heard me compare daddy to Pres Obama, it would cause more chaos than a rabid squirrel let loose in church. But I see it. I feel it. I think it’s a massive compliment to both men. If you need me, I’ll be over in the corner, missing both of them.

I also have some somewhat estranged family members, people who live in fear of a changing nation. I think fathers all over America, in this life and the next, will look at the nation with pride in a few years. We've been having a rough time, but with wise leaders like Obama and Harris, we'll get out of it.

I clicked on this video because it popped up on my feed and the comments are disappointing 😒. I see kids of all colors and different ethnicity’s love and play with each other on a daily basis. Then I scroll through these comments and see a bunch of adults divided with each other. If only we all had the heart of a child. Praying for the world and our country 🙏🏽💙.

haha. The 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which limits presidents to two four-year elected terms in office, was ratified in 1951. Two times four is 8, not 12.
You can read about the things Obama accomplished as president. The Affordable Care Act and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act were significant achievements. Trump built a few hundred miles of wall and gave tax cuts to rich people. Failure.

Really? Because I got pot holes finally getting fixed, broadband coming into my rural town, and interstate and bridge maintenance finally, finally, happening. Trump didn’t do that. The Infrastructure Bill did that. 60,000 projects nationwide have been funded. You might want to see if the Republicans who voted against it, but don’t mind taking credit, are from your state. Barack Obama is easy to listen to and enjoyable to listen to and has a good message about positive core values. Additioally, he is very moving at times. I like how simultaneously, nimbly and strongly Obama speaks.

Interesting words from someone who deported more people than any president in American history. Many of these people were not criminals (defined by penal codes). These people were separated from their families & children were stripped from their parents. However, the media did a good job not covering the inhumane ways this “deporter in chief” treatment of hardworking immigrants. I can’t imagine what a woman who incarcerated so many black men with petty crimes will do.
