- Iranian schoolgirls have been filmed furiously chanting and shaking their headscarves at a paramilitary speaker.
In a video reportedly filmed in the southern city of Shiraz on Tuesday, girls can be heard chanting "death to [Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali] Khamenei" and "get lost, Basiji", at a man standing at a podium.
The Basij is a volunteer paramilitary group under the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps that can deploy to enforce morality laws or disperse protests.
In another video filmed in Karaj, west of Tehran, girls without head coverings heckled a man believed to be a visiting city official shouting: "shame on you" and forcing him to leave by throwing plastic bottles at him.
