The Danish pot is enameled steel. It is called Kobenstyle. Copenhagen is called Kobenhavn by the Danes. Kobe is to buy and havn is harbor. The pots were originally made in Denmark, then in France. These old original pots were made much better than the new ones which I think are made in Thailand. New they sell for $150, so I think you can get more than $30 for it.
I’m with you 100%!!!!! I thought I was the only one with numbers like that!!!! I’m SO glad you put yours out there bc now I don’t feel like I’m going crazy!!! And YES ALL THE FEES AND HORRIBLE INCOMPETENT SUPPOSED “SELLER SUPPORT” IS ALL BY DESIGN!!!!! doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that for buyers returns are easy peasy support is amazingly simple and quick!!!! But when it comes to sellers it’s the exact opposite!!! And for a conglomerate billion dollar business like AMAZON YOU KNOW EVERY SINGLE THING IS 100% by design, tested and thoroughly thought out by an entire team of not entire DEPARTMENT!!!!!! And that’s the sh*t that really pisses me off!!!!!! Bc they can try to play dumb but it’s common sense when you think about and break it down like I just did that they just don’t give a freak lol and take advantage by penny pinching EVERY SINGLE WAY THEY CAN BY THE MILLIONS AND THAT MAKES THEN THEIR BILLIONS!!! Scammy shit! As much as I enjoy selling on Amazon I too have come to the same conclusion as you!!
I remember I would get 10 returns a day on Amazon. People would open items up, take stuff out and return. It would come in waves. Made my blood boil. I quit amazon. Ebay only now.
Thank you for showing books I was getting discouraged with these large book companies reselling for so cheap with free shipping! I’ll keep looking for better ones.
I’ve started looking a little harder at books. Finding a few-but finding a lot of sheet music and music books. Not sure how they will do but it’s fun to find new niches.
Just chillin in the park on a Sunday afternoon …. I can’t believe you found a lighter shade of brown. You gotta listen to Sunday afternoon if you live on the WestCoast ❤Nice Find!
Those Dog Man books are heavy for their size--I sold a smaller lot a month ago or so and couldn't believe how much they weighed relative to their volume. Good tip on gathering these books in lots though. I'm currently working on another lot. Thanks!
I used to do FBA until the fees got ridiculous. I now only do Merchant Fulfilled. I have the a 1200 sq ft storage building to accommodate my inventory which may be difficult for other sellers. I’ve not had any returns over the last 12 months. So far so good.
Just wanted to let you know, in case you were unaware, that the Chemical Principles book was an Instructor's Review Copy (someone covered up the warnings with black tape). The inside should be identical, so your buyer should still be able to use it fine. But I thought it would be good to mention for the future. That black tape is a red flag that someone tried to hide the real identity of the book. Just don't want your buyers to think that you did it and possibly affect your feedback. Thank you for the great videos, Mike!
@@bobseehafer5414 on amazon they should have some sell through. Some better than others, but on eBay I have taken books that have zero sell through and lower my price and have sold them. Most of the time those type books are over priced and just need to be lower price to sell.
Amazons sky high fees and impossible return process = no way for me. I'll stick with ebay. My other issue with Amazon is you really have to be BIG to make it work. For a hobby seller like me, it just doesn't work. I continue to be an everything seller, 7 shipments tomorrow, 3 are books. All three book sales are lots, anywhere from 3 to 10 in this case.
Is Amazon FBA sounds pretty good if we are doing the books in and they don't all the work. Giving them the lion 🦁 share might sound bad but when you're pulling $100k a year for just going through some bins and boxing them up and send them in. I had a quick look at Amazon here in Australia and it 50 bucks a month plus fees. If I could buy bins on books CDs or DVDs like some resellers can be worth it. Does the UA-camr here in Australia and her boyfriend, he got warehouses and he's has bins and bins of books CDs DVDs. He has workers doing all the work for him. Living on the Gold coast in Australia makes it very expensive to find warehouses to rent. Otherwise I might look into trying to get my hands on some bins, cheers Graham
I would say returns for Amazon FBM are much lower than FBA. I think FBA books just endure the tests of the conveyor belts and storage bins they use that just destroy these books sometimes. I sell my non-textbook books that are over $100+ value FBM because I know it might get beat up before someone buys it, or Amazon continuously unlists the book because it is "Priced too High".
The one area we see differently. That's okay though it is what our country is about. I'm seeing a Trump win. It's always about the ECONOMY and inflation will be the thing that sinks her. Thanks again.

I agree. Books on Amazon is 100% a volume game. Push in as many descent ones as you can. Rinse and repeat.
Many summers ago I visited a friend in Berkeley and we rode down to Monterey to see the aquarium and eat fish and chips by the sea.
The aquarium is amazing but now almost $100 to get into.

Hi,
On your books do you look for a good sell through rate to sell or just put them out there?
