Well, tweets are going viral mentioning/agreeing with me and showing clips of smoke cancels. I’m getting messages from smoke players saying i should have kept this on the down low.
Remember, despite tweets going viral mentioning me, and everyone agreeing - I have NO PROOF, and it’s all speculation.

I have proof that smokes forward 3+2 into smoke cancel is one frame to extend the combo or you drop it. Smoke is garbage and if you think differently you're just delusional and I would be happy to educate you

it's actually stupid... i main scorpion so when i ex teleport there's no invulnerability when i tp and i get hit when im not even on screen which is stupid and smoke gets it free, same for reptile he doesn't instant go invisible like smoke. people talk about kenshi sento pressure as if smoke doesn't have one the best pressures and a move set to counter wake up
I thought I was tripping 🤣 cause I ain’t had this much trouble against bro since the game launched, granted I took a break but still.
@@tbgtabias I mean smokes cancel tele only goes to the other side if you jump and it’s super slow you have to enhance to get a little faster recovery and his pressure is mostly fake he has no mids and his smoke cancel you just need to poke out of

I believe they did change the timing.. I’m a smoke main, & never missed cancels prior to patch. After patch it took me about a hour to get 99% cancels again lol. Cancel after the b2 more instead of sareena. Cancel into grabs. B2 cancels decent into a teleport cancel if they’re mashing a lot. And main thing cancel the f3 into invisible 😛 He’s most fun for me since I was a Kabal main in mk9.

i dont know how much smoke you watch but JustNasty is a really talented and fun smoke to watch and I heavily recommend his sets!

My favorite thing bout smoke Serena is you can hit smokes 212 get three hits then call the kamo...it like cancels his side switch in the combo

I thought I was the only one who felt it got easier to do the cancels cause I was doing way better! Maybe it’s the Mk3 skin lol
if you are going to play Smoke more I suggest you use scorpion as your kameo. you can get 59%-60% for max bars. as well as having many more combo routes.

I only see xbox with this lag issue seems to happen when its the last round and both players have fatal while someone is using sareena its very frustrating, this has been a bug since day one release

Not sure if it was touched and haven’t played much this season. But only cancel I struggle with is the overhead cancel or the low opener to the cancel. But I love the og smoke skin. Only one I bought 🎉.
Unfortunate thing ive noticed is my f4 doesnt break armor like it used to 😢
I guess id take cancels easier but damn it fucked me over for a time. Idk what move to use to try to break armor

i could use the shadow blade after using stand1 at the end of the combo but it doesn't work anymore
I never found the cancels difficult at all beforehand

Also smoke optimals are not doing the fwd 1-2 grab and instead just jumping after the standing 3-2 and doing 1-1 smoke port
Smoke is the Only character I can anti air with consistently everyone else it’s rare and or an accident
if you've got the cancels down play with Scorpion you'll get 10-15% more damage per kombo
if you use 212 before the second Serena u get more damage
They need a quality of life buff that fixes Kameo invincibility frames
please do some more smoke

No medium, armor garb, no fireball, the best thing is -35 on def, cancel online is hard, 2 plus things? F12 an f4. 2 break armor but one is 3 f h. All gap, play with smoke is lose and be hated. Nobody win camp with him. Liu is umpunished, raiden johny o man is i think do scape from oressure te top 3 most garbage. Is it, you will lose but funny too.

A poke, d 34 no combo just punch and punish. The d1 is crazy because all others d1 on defense make you litle more distant and stand up no way to enter ir is. Most problem for me

I’m a smoke main with 900 w 380 L and I still miss cancels 99 percent of the time. NRS shouldn’t make his cancels so difficult

Idk man I think you just got used to the game. Because I could do his cancels pretty quick. Only have problems with the down back 2 invis same side thing. When to go for and when to not. Imo you probably always could do it just feel more relaxed now. Cuz ya see as that raiden started to beat you you dropped some. Either way I FIRMLY believe you got it down. Optimize some of the strings and I think you’d be a menace. He’s fun cuz he’s flashy.
