Absolutely agree that Sebastian is an important hero, and one of the best heroes in the game, but his ult is also very easy to counter at this point. We have two pets that remove his debuff shield with every attack when patroned, Fenris team pet takes away five blockings with his ult (not that I am recommending Fenris team pet) and also has a chance of adding a blind debuff, and a lot of the newer/reworked heroes have skills that have a lot of debuffs, like Augustus and TMNT. Lara attacks upto four times with her basic attack, and if used with Vex, that is 4 debuffs on the shield gone. The point is that without Khorus, the current metagame would be a lot more focused on control, because Sebastian is easy to overwhelm! Whenever I see a team without Khorus team pet, one of my go-to teams is a Maya/Arachne combo with Mushy. If Sebastian and/or Rufus is on the enemy team, I just add Lara Croft, and the opponent usually can't do anything after the first few seconds. I am not saying that team is unbeatable without Khorus, but Khorus has made it possible for way more teams to beat it, since Khorus blocks most of the "normal" debuffs like stun and silence
fenris team pet + fenris on keira would be sick. that's 5 blinds from fenris ult AT YOUR CHOOSING OF TIME(if you play on manual), and 5 chips away at Ode2, and/or 5 possible blinds every time keira attacks. by far the best Ode2 stripper, though, is having Biscuit patronage on heroes like heidi or iris...as far as i know?
Biscuit ! Biscuit is major Ode to Serenity stripper, best on a hero that does a lot of attacks and does them quick into a battle: Maya, Orion, maybe Heidi (not quick, but a single ult will remove all 15 debuffs protection) And Biscuit is more versatile - compatible with lot more heroes. Such a pity that Aidan is not among them, but then he would be too good of an Ode stripper, The only caveat is that Biscuit is meh as a team pet, so don't level him too much. Just get to violet to activate stripper capabilities.. Vex and Fenris are for physical heroes, and yeah, Fenris is crap, I certainly wouldn't level him. I personally wouldn't go with physical team in 2025 either, given how popular is dodge. Unless it's Dante, Jhu, Keira, maybe Ishmael, Lara, but Lara is difficult to get to 6-star.
I'm not saying that either one is better, but in cow or grand arena defence you can have only one sebastian or khorus. You get some protection for two lines. I use khorus a lot with mage lines and you can finish rufus with khorus ult if you time it right in manual mode.
It's worth mentioning, that Khorus can reused on CoW offense 3x, if needed. Seb - only once. That's a major consideration. But one needs Seb for Osh anyway and it's unusual to need effects protection in all 3 teams, when attacking in CoW
Sebastian with Dante are 2 worst heroes in the game if you look at gameplay and fairness. That's why in heroes brawl event they're both ALWAYS chosen as first to be out of the brawl. Players simply hate them because they are ruining the game. Evan not maxed they waaaay stronger than other heroes but when maxed they are defeating teams stronger 200-300K. That is a farce. That's not fair, game devs simply fucked this up. In this case why spend time slowly and painfully building your team, when you meet Sebastian+ Dante, weaker hundreds of K of power and they win ? From strength or power point of view they are awesome. But this game should rely on different combos of heroes to get winning team. What devs did insted , that your time and sometimes money are worthless because now almost everyone are using the same team: Sebastian, Dante, Nebula + other variations. And Sebastian almost 80% energy bonus from the start is ridiculous as well as Dante skillls. This is almost army of the clones. All wants the same few heroes and I simply refuse building Dante only because everybody have him. When you start building your team you make certain choices of heroes, and those choices are extremely difficult to undo by starting to build other heroes only to counter Sebastian + Dante. Am I right ?

Finally managed to force myself to get him leveling up. Going to take a while to get through his skins, but I did finish his Ascension Spire last Ascension to Asgard. mostly depends on if using a phy or magic team, crit matters espescially with dante
The Khorus line is nose candy
Also you can counter sebastian with many heros like judge with bisquit or polaris etc, you can't counter khorus.
