I've used a more expensive product on my truck battery when it died during a cold snap (2 yrs old battery!) Wouldn't stay charged, even on a 2 hour drive. It brought it back to life and been strong all year.
I bought this same model from temu and used it to charge my dead truck battery today. Within a few hours the truck is running fine. Best $12 I've spent on temu lol.
I have one too. It said full because it was showing 6.68v. A bike battery is generally only 6v. lol. Always use repair pulse mode first. It de-sulfates the cells. Once that says full, switch to normal charge mode. So far I've revived 3 "dead" batteries. ;) PS. they sell 2 types. One is min 8.0v but for about $6 more, the better one starts at 0.03v. That's the fellow I bought & it's brilliant!
A good price for a 6 amp charger. I still often use my old school dumb battery charger without a minimum level on really dead batteries. Both style chargers have their places but they can't work miracles. In the end I too usually end up replacing far more than I ever bring back from the dead.
I have a big (10A) charger that does pulsing at the end of charge and fixed a camper battery, the battery worked for 2 years after that, and sold it to a dealer who said the battery was OK.
Definitely. One thing the old man taught me was as soon as your car battery starts giving you problems just replace it. It will fail at the worst possible time. The old man was a pragmatist. Anyway, I've always followed that advice. So I ported it to the off road vehicle. She loves that thing. And her tractor. lol Green acres is the life for me....
Pretty sure it takes about, or up to 4 days to repair or breakdown the crystals on the battery plates. break the seal top off with distilled water, charge with 12v 140 to 500 AMPS for about 5-15 minutes then wait an hour and do this about 5 times, then recharge normally.
there is a manual inside the box... you should (MUST!) read it before plug... you HAVE to 1st) connect the battery and... 2nd) connect to wall outlet... you didn't recover the battery because AGAIN you didn't read the manual as it is clearly specified you have to leave the unit in "repair mode" for 16 hours! useless video... just waste of time
Very helpful. Exactly what I was looking for without the overtalking that people normally do. Thanks bud

Paul take the top off and check the fluid levels first. Yes the top will come off.
Its sealed lol I have the same battery you do not want to do that *danger*

Most likely, the battery dropped a cell, Paul. You did the right thing by replacing your aunt's battery.

Try the repair mode for 12 hours+ then see how it goes?

Can pulse charging be done with the battery in the car with the terminals connected?
@@mihai8166 Better safe than sorry. Disconnecting the terminal is strongly recommended.
Charger tried but the battery died.😮
☮️ brother.

😂
Those litheum battery's will freeze out in the cold I know because mine did here in Quebec Canada
The Ace lives in her heated attached garage. Do you think it would be ok in there? She keeps about 55°F in there.
@@learnelectronics well yeah since it is in a heated garage unlike me I don't so all the battery's froze so good thing it's heated
Iether the battery over time the fluids inside evaporates then becomes low and low until their no more then loses charge or cells are damage 🤷♂️
running it longer didnt make it better?
There's at least 1 dead cell in that battery.
At least. I concur.
