Hi Simone, hope you're enjoying your new home I'd like to know what your thoughts are on our country and and did u really expect Africa to be like this? Amazing video btw xoxo
Thank you for your lovely message. I am blown away with how beautiful Namibia is and how welcoming and friendly Namibians are. Before ever visiting in 2011, I had only ever seen wildlife documentaries. I didn't know what to expect when I first came over. But every time I have visited and got to visit different areas; I am always amazed. I love the nice weather. 🙂xx
Hey sissy! Sorry I’m late. Here catching up. Oh wow this is lovely! Going down memory Lane is always a special thing to do. How lovely! Precious memories. Really enjoyed coming along and listening in to all the history behind every place. It felt like I was touring with you. Fantastic video. Very enlightening. Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much for catching up sis. It was nice seeing where Ryan used to go to school and having a drive all over. Thanks for watching, have a fab week ahead xxx
I love seeing where he lived and a lil of his background before the move to the UK. I love seeing the different sites out there. How’s Ryan doing career wise being back out there? I bet he’s doing amazing and definitely in his element right!?!
Hi Roxy. Thanks so much for your message. I love seeing where he grew up and the stories he tells me. He has a big family with lots of cousins who are more like siblings. I hope one day to film with them. The work he is doing at the moment isn't rugby related but he has been volunteering doing rugby and also uploading from time to time on his channel. We have set up De La Sports here and are looking to establish it as a business like we did on the Isle of Man. Will def keep you posted. Thanks for watching xxx
Hi Simone, You did the right thing moving to Namibia its beautiful . Are the children settled in a school? Hope your lovely mum can visit soon!! Take care from a wet & windy Plymouth Devon!! From SUE xx
Hi Sue. Thanks so much for your message. The kids really love it here. We have carried on home educating the children. There are some very good schools here if we decide to send them in the future. I hope it isnt too cold over there in Plymouth. Thanks for watching xx
Hey, Im Namibian heritage and hoping to move home with my family after living in the UK all my life. Is there a big home education community? Would you do a video on cost of living?
@@damselinthisdress3370 thanks so much for your message. I will look to make a video on this. We are down at the coast and I havent met a lot of home educators yet. But my husband went to Swakop to enquire about activities at the dome and the lady there said there is a community of home educators. Apparently there is a lpt more in windhoek. We may be moving there soon and I will be actively looking for other families. I will make a video once there and settled etc. I hope that helps xx
@@SimoneAlana thanks Simone! Super helpful. I'm really loving your videos as we have always dreamed of living there for a bit. I'm half Oshewambo and would love my kids to feel their heritage. You're an inspiration xxx
Thank you so much! That is so wonderful. I love learning about Namibia and the people and different cultures. We have had family staying with us for a few weeks so i havent had the time to make any videos or film. But i will start again soon. Im so glad that our kids get to experience namibia. Theh have always loved coming on holiday and wanted to move here because of the family and the weather. They said they arent missing the uk or isle of man yet xx
I'mmmm here never got a notification for this video ....I tell ya Namibia looks really nice, but did I hear him say 40 degrees OMG that hotter than northern Ghana its 37 here and I feel like I'm melting lol do you guys live in the capitol or on the coast and how far apart are they ...great video keep em coming and I will surely be on my way lol
It is 360km from the capital to the coast. We live at the coast but come to Windhoek regularly as Ryan's parents and siblings live there. There its lots of family at the coast about a 15 mins drive from us. Yes it gets to be upwards of 34c in Windhoek but it is around 21c here at the coast. OMG the altitude and dry humid weather in Windhoek is too much for me. I sweat constantly and get altitude sickness when Im there. It takes me a while to adjust x
*Beautiful beautiful beautiful footage, supreme quality and a pleasure to watch 🙏🏻💜😍👌👌👌* It’s so good having a trip out with plenty of recollecting,it’s something I love is visiting and passing through .wee have a beautiful heaven here on earth and when spent with family those memories are extra special xxxxx I’m late.
