Have been using one of these for 6 months now. I have connected it up to a horn speaker to make it louder. I set it up so the very annoying ring will sound for a few seconds then I can talk. It's set up so when some cameras trip the line crossing function I get a notification and I can ring the Algo and scare the hell out of people that should not be in the area at night....works great!!
My school uses these as a PA system, they also have horn speakers on the outside. They have used two class change bell tones. One that sounds like a censored bleep and one that sounds like a thunderstorm, which fits the theme of the school because our mascot is the Titans
hahaha, Chris! Yeah, it is. I let that go in the lab at VoIP Supply, it's so bad. Makes your eyes water because your ears are just dead after that. So much pressure!! Nice video!! (as always) Dog Barking = Virtual Security Dogs. RUN!!
I may have missed it but did you mention the horn version and the ceiling tile version? Same beast in different form factor. Love those three products.
Wow! I usually enjoy this channel but that type of response. Shocking especially considering your also doing it as your business. One less subscriber as he wasn’t being horrible he was making a point but no need for that response.
My only complaint with Algo is they do a poor job at communicating firmware updates. For instance, this unit is on 2.7.4. However, the most recent version on their website is 1.7 (released in December 2018)... What!?
Here's a follow-up. I reached out to Algo and VoIPSupply... Sometime in late November 2018, Algo released the 8180G2 (which is a newer hardware platform). If you have purchased an Algo 8180 recently, make sure it is the G2 version. The latest firmware of the G2 version is 1.7 (as of 1/17/2019).

I have installed an Algo in a doctors waiting room, where the doctors call the patients, works very well.
Great info!! Thanks so much this explained everything I needed to know just had a new client who needs some of these. 👍🏻

I've gotta say your gibberish ring tone is from Bruce Almighty
Pegged it
LOL... Love the Airplane! reference in the thumbnail.
It's beyond me how this can be worth $289 when you can buy a basic SIP phone with a ringer and speakerphone for
Try making that
@@CrosstalkSolutions that was an unnecessarily aggressive response. And I am still none the wiser!

@@mama9048 I mean he was talking with authority on a topic he doesn't know much about lol
Speakerphone’s don’t work in a classroom setting, I don’t care how loud they are!
Why is your Sangoma phone using a Nortel ringtone?
I am wondering if I can make the paging work Like the ringer with the same extension?
Bruce Almighty! Great movie.
Great video!
How loud is this unit? Would it be loud enough to work in a small warehouse? or would I need an additional speaker?
Plenty loud for a small warehouse.
Will this work with other systems like 3CX?
Use the relay to light it up in pulsating glowing red light when it talks tu you 😂
Does anyone know any cheaper alternatives to this? £365.00 is bloody expensive compared to an analog bell being £42...
Bruce Almighty ;) loved that movie
hello you know in comlombia who distributes it

Dog barking - maybe for security reasons?
16:31 Always scares me
That is a ridiculously expensive SIP paging solution.
As compared to what??
hello
UA-cam commercials suck. I never buy from these, they all suck!!
