Hence Tom's comment about it being out of 'Maid Marian and her Merry Men!' The difference between them and comic greats like Monty Python, Blackadder, etc. is probably more in the fact that TechDif stop here at the ideation phase. A full on programme from them based on these (in a similar vein to their TechDifShow, minus the Top Gear format) would be most splendid.
An absolute masterpiece as always! As someone who’s watched TechDif dozens of times I’m always excited to see what spin you put on it. You breathe such life into every joke and elevate even the mildly amusing into true hilarity. My suggestion for your ever expanding list is the Will Seaward ‘Panthers?’ part of the Stephan’s Island Wren episode. (I wonder what shape his head would become? Maybe a trapezoid?) Have a great day and thanks so much for the art!
Thank you very much! It was one of the bits that inspired me to get into animating these, but for some reason I never got around to it until I remembered out of the blue 'They are Rigged! They are Rigged! He has had some Disease as a child!'
@@CamstonIsland Matt, Gary, and Tom are like newborn foals first learning to walk. Chris is on the sidelines the whole time until suddenly, near the end, there is a shot of some shape blotting out the sun casting a shadow on the other three. The camera swings around to focus on this spinning sphere rising in midair until it unfurls to reveal it's Chris, who dives at the camera and turns the screen black as a transition to the next shot. It's Chris landing on the ice in skates striking a heroic yet graceful pose, and he takes off into the distance, spinning and jumping and doing all sorts of ice-related shenanigans. The final shot is the other three holding up judges' score signs: a 9.8 from the Nottinghamshire judge, a 9.5 from the West Yorkshire judge, and a 9.9 from the bounciest judge. Entertain yourselves; this is a good half-hour for me.
This whole segment should have meant the start of a new TV series with the premise they joke into existence

"The Counts of Andechs" would be a great name for a pub
The lavatory must of course be their ancestral home of House Andrex
1:14 love the detail of the bag saying "thaler"
Well they wouldn't be using quid in medieval Dalmatia, famously one of the many states to form Germany!
0:20 Tom's finger-gun on "Yes!" is perfect.
I thought it was one of the weaker visual gags I did here, but I'm glad you liked it!
oh yeah, I really liked that too @@CamstonIsland
Do the rods from God and the Yorkie bar next or ming the merciless and Scarborough
The Chocolate Wars will be a most ambitious project
For sure but this is maybe the best TechDiff bit of all time, Chocolate Wars would be a triumph if you can pull it off@@CamstonIsland
I don’t know why Chris entering from off stage both times is so funny to me but it’s genuinely hilarious

Thank you for the borderline prose of praise there! I can just imagine Will Seaward's trapezoidal face poking from behind a cabinet door...
If you're still taking suggestions, I'd love to see the Battle of Fishguard!
You never fail to amuse and amaze with the quality of your on-point sketchy animations.
I'm glad it could be amusing to such an extent, in spite of their sketchiness!
This one was hilarious! Well done!
I must recommend the Roger Daltrey: fish farmer / people tank segment from “the Big Lobster” episode
Thank you, and thrice thank you!
You forgot one: Thank you!
@@CamstonIsland Thank you!!
THE RETURN OF WIGGLY BRANNAN
This is marvellous, possibly your best one yet! Very much a segment that was crying out for your treatment…
Thank you very much! It was one of the bits that inspired me to get into animating these, but for some reason I never got around to it until I remembered out of the blue 'They are Rigged! They are Rigged! He has had some Disease as a child!'
@@CamstonIsland lol!
You should do these for the audio-only episodes!
The goose and train one is from one of those, I should go back and relisten to the series!
Oh my god, had me in tears, this was so good! So many little touches, really adds to already one of my fave TechDiff bits, keep it up!
Thanks! I've always been partial to this bit, I'm glad you liked it!
RETURN OF WIGGLY BRANAN!
these are incredible. ty for these.
This was brilliant! As always!
We really need tech diff on ice
Should they get really good at ice skating for this or have the whole event be a disaster because they keep falling over, akin to the Goes Wrong Show?
@@CamstonIsland i think clumsy is more fun. But the biggest part of the episode is the curling in a swimming pool, like depth charges

But it's just Mad Cap'n Tom's ship sliding on ice
A scene from an episode I haven't seen before! What a lovely surprise! Wonderfully animated, as always :D
It's a good episode- well, they all are, but this was is good too!
What a great moment to animate lmao
Indeed! Gary doing funny history moments is great on its own, but when the other two get in on it then it becomes utterly hilarious!
I was waiting for this one.
You did not disappoint.
Well done.
With some adjustment that could be made into a haiku! Thank you very much!
is that matt commentating on afc wimbledon wimbly womblys vs swindon town swoodilypoopers? a truly incredible easter egg
What can I say, I am a man of culture.
sorry if requests like this are annoying but, like, you should do gary’s “spritiualist service” from 5x05
No, keep them coming, I just can't do more than one at a time, of course!
Why does Toms chair look like he has a beaver tail?
whats the anme of that little yellow bear i CANNOT remember
Pudsey Bear
yay
Has anyone from Techdif seen your animations?
Gary retweeted the first Henricus one, but I'm not sure about since then!
Twix please :3
