I was sitting on facebook looking through stuff just to try to shut my brain noise off. I have severe anxiety and depression. Winter makes it much worse because my job is a seasonal job.
I clicked on reels because that usually works good. I just scroll for what seems like forever. It works well for distracting me from overthinking. Music is always my "go to" thing. Problem with that can be that sometimes, ill keep playing songs that actually make me overthink even more. A clip of this song was the first reel i watched. The caption "i wrote this for those who overthink" made me click it. To say it hit the spot is an understatement.
I had never heard of you before i saw that clip. Now, as i sit here, wiping the tears away from my 50 year old eyes, i say thank you from the bottom of my aching heart, Mr Morgan! Youve gained another fan and im very glad i found your music today.

A friend sent this to me... and I'll tell you all why.
Last year, I was seeing someone, and she was my rock while my grandmother was dying. She saw me fall apart in ways I had never fallen apart before. I fell in love with her, hopelessly because I honest to God felt like I had discovered some sort of angel... And she reciprocated. I was so in love with this girl that when I thought about how important she was to me, I would tear up a little. I was dead set on marrying her, and I was going to give her the world. Weeks after the memorial service for my grandmother... she gradually grows more and more distant until she tells me that she doesn't feel the same way.
Last night, I found out she's been seeing my roommate, and my world started falling apart again. And a friend directed me here. So... thank you, Brent. I needed this.

I am a recovering addict and for me I never had anyone tell that it's going to be ok. I had given up on myself and was so deep into my addiction that nothing else mattered. It wasn't until I almost overdosed that I realized that I needed help. I now have some amazing people around me who are telling me it's going to be ok. I have a great sponsor who is there when I need her and she has Truly helped me when I start thinking what if. I listen to this song and it speaks to me.

Life is hard these past months. I keep overthinking things especially my relationship with someone special to me. It makes me want to give up on this relationship cause I feel like my expectations and needs are not met, our time together becomes lesser and lesser as months pass by. But I always find myself holding on and hoping that one day, I'll feel the happiness and excitement I've felt when the relationship was starting😢. This relationship affects my well-being to the point that I can't find meaning in life.
