I enjoy the fact that Jake takes pride when people make "fun" of him for playing junkrat (Probably because he knows it's a joke) but it's even better seeing xQc and Jake actually working together nicely and not screaming at eachother lmao

Andro I’m late but yeah, Jake’s never been the one to “yell” at anyone. xQc, during a particularly toxic moment in his overwatch career, made fun of Jake in his twitch a lot (which gets tens of thousands of views) and a lot of pretty much 12 year olds emailed him a lot and spammed his chats making fun of him and sending him messages to kill himself a lot and it took a pretty big toll on him without him really saying anything about it. He talked about it in the Houston outlaws focus series on UA-cam, it was pretty sad to hear. But they ended up talking about it (xQc mainly used the joke to boost his channel as any streamer probably would, and he didn’t know how much shit Jake was really getting from his fans) and xQc told his chat to stop attacking him and for the most part they did. So regarding xQc it’s pretty much a big act / character for his younger, less mature audience when he’s raging and being a moron and whatnot, it just happened to affect Jake really negatively for a while. I think that’s all I remember :))

Alec Lumba your fingers have to always keep moving. Cant slack off. If theres a free button to press then you press it instead of doing nothing. Its like in soccer where if you just stand still instead of constantly moving and being in a run ready position, you will get blown by. Same concept

Everyone memes on Jakerat and the truth is Jake doesn't have great mechanical skill compared to pros, but his game sense, shot calling and positioning are insanely good and that's the reason why his junkrat is a class above the rest - since he doesn't have to have godlike aim, but just knowing where he needs to be at every point in the game
blitz0623 about the only DPS player with similar game sense to tank players and support players

I love Jake's communication. Wish I had more teammates that used comms and made effective use of comms.

Jake is good at the game. His junkrat tho is god tier. I wonder what would happen if they nerf junkrat more if he'd be a standout player. But i see why he gets the "leadership" praise. His calls are really good. I just don't like his personality much... Seems to me like those cocky quarterbacks from the movies lol

Psycho not really a Big Deal.. he is still super broken. His ult charges too fast and the spam does incredible damage
Adam Jafari-Fini but junkrat is built around practicality and positioning, spamming is just what you do to stop people pushing and to dish out the most damage quickly, you would be stupid to not spam.
Half of the spams look useless but they give the junkrat valuable info and can even control enemy movement, his whole kit can cc enemies.
Rafael Morais even in the old days junkrat was insane, he didn’t need his buff at all.
Removing self damage and giving him an extra mine literally makes him able to suicide dive and come out alive.
I doubt any nerf can balance him unless they remove part of his kit or rework his weapon.
Basically jake will always be a junkrat god.

I had that same setting up until recently. I picked up Mccree and realised I couldn't roll to the left since you can't press A and Q at the same time xD Way quicker to react using Q though, and fewer misclicks on my ult
