CC showed up to work with "Habitat for Humanity" a few days back. She helped set up a basketball hoop for the 3 kids that will be living in the refurbished open. Then she played basketball with them. Truly enjoyed the video footage of that!! You rock CC!~!!!
Attended my first Fever game last night. The place was PACKED! 90% of the people in the stands were wearing Caitlin Clark shirts and/or carrying CC signs. Before the game, the Team Store was an absolute zoo of people buying CC merchandise. I later heard that there were 14,000 in attendance. We sat next to a couple who have been going to Fever games for years, and they said that, before Caitlin Clark, they used to draw about 1,500 to 2,000 people for a home game. The Caitlin Clark Effect is real. The Fever need to ride the wave!!!
Considering Clark was shuffled off to one corner, and basically no teammates passed the ball to her for the whole game until the Dream was up with only a couple of minutes to go and looking defeat in the eye Clark took control of the plays and was able to get off pinpoint passes to Boston who had easy buckets for the win.
Imagine if Don Nelson came up with the brilliant idea of trying to change Steph Curry's game as an NBA rookie by forcing him to shoot less 3-pointers and more two-pointers and layups. You can literally see how Caitlin's self-confidence is running low
Defense was great, and Boston had her best game of the season. She was physical and finished really well at the rim, she's had a bunch of games with high usage this year already where she simply didn't finish at the rim. However, it's still very apparent Sides has no idea how to use the #1 scorer in NCAA history. It's very troubling.
Clark's shots weren't falling. The games before this they had ab going to the top of the key to set screens for cc. She was uncomfortable in that position
Caitlin Clark has good chemistry with Temi, but she seems to be the only one who CC clicks with and can handle her passes. Hopefully that will change but I'll be happy when Temi is back on the court.
Catlin’s own team is playing against her strengths smh. If it was Iowa she’s playing Gabbys role and Gabby was great but not utilized as much as Caitlin. They are destroying Caitlin smh she’s not even emotionally her best self anymore. She never seems happy. This coach doesn’t know how to get the best out of her players. She needs to coach HS ball.
Congrats Boston for making sure this game was won. Congrats Mitchell for that effort to ensure the win. It was about to slip away once again from a huge deficit inspite of some of the wall calls from the officials.
If any if these players where being double team every game they would not even made a single point. That is how good CC really is. the respect for her shooting and passing.
After the smear campaign of yesterday I hope Caitlin realizes she is above the vicious bullying players of the league and the scumbag reporters who cover it.She is a sweet girl who is being held responsible for things she can't control.
Coach Sides is delusional. The points in the paint are there every game. This is one of the few games where players have made their shots in the paint. Scoring 59 points in the first half and 32 points the second half means the opposing coach made adjustments at halftime that negatively impacted the ability of the team to score. The opposing team scored 44 points the first half and 40 points the second half. This means the adjustments coach Sides made at halftime had no impact on the ability of the opposing team to score. My guess is that coach Sides is okay with being delusional as it requires no effort. Being a coach that makes successful adjustments takes effort.
Sides made zero adjustments and forced Clark to keep passing inside from her weak side! I am furious! AB only got rebound points and took her 2-3 times to get them in! Nothing was excellent! Only 20pts in 2nd half! Very poor no screens and no offensive change! Atlanta blocked post second half and sides did not change anything!!!! 😡😡😡

If she doesn't have a good game the entire team is terrible even when they win....but if she has a good game and the team loses you all celebrate? AB is the defensive staple of that team, and they play better at a slower pace moving inside out. That's why they won.
This is feeling like a scam, tbh. They want people to shell out money for tickets, then coach forces people to watch CC play passive as a decoy or just pass the ball. Yeah this game really angered me! This coach is awful! Zero offense strategy after 1st quarter! She gaslights media to cover up her bad coaching and they really lost this game bad! She tried to blame it on Howard’s good shooting but she only had 20 pts whole 2nd half! So bad! She pit Clark in a weak side hole! Unreal evil crap!

Great win! Caitlin's shot wasn't falling, but the shots from many others on the team were. Great team win!! In the future when Clark gets hot along with AB, Kelsey, and Katie Lou, they can beat any team. Especially the way they played defense down the stretch. Plus Caitlin again had 7 assists and kept getting the ball to her teammates. She did what point guards do. Not sure why folks are complaining about the coaching.
They are lucky they won. Their screen for Caitlin were horrible. Is Sides trying to play down Caitlin’ names. Just think if they would place good screens for CC how many points they would have scored.

Are you a Fever fan? That's like crying because Embiid only scored 15, but the Sixers won. Save it for a loss. Clark got off 11 shots and turned it over 7 times. Relax. The Fever may have found themselves. It's a win. Clark may have to practice against tougher defense. I don't know how the practices go.

This is what you get when the Fever hires a head coach from a JV high school team. They get the coach who can't coach, they get the coach who nearly lost the game in the second half, they get the coach that can't coach the fast break game. They get the coach who doesn't understand that you need to set screens 94 feet down the court to break the defense on Clark, so she can free up and pass the ball without turning it over. You get the coach who allows all the players to stand around while Clark is trying to bring the ball up the court, only to have a defender in her face with zero help from her teammates. That the Fevers game plan, I can take anyone off the street and have them coach the same way and still win 10 games a season.
I thought the same thing. Actually I coached varsity for a number of years and my teams have better offensive movement than this team. That reflects on the coach
The sun shines pretty bright around Caitlin. You get the feeling a lot of this game was about getting everyone else their shine. Not a bad thing. It can help morale. But until they figure out how to fire that cannon, they're still not going to win many battles. A win is a win though. Kudos.

I’m so with you on this. I just sold my Fever road game ticket an hour ago. I love Boston but this coach is absolutely horrendous. It’s like she is sucking the life out of her generational talent. This team has no chemistry or leadership. If I were CC’s parents I’d be seriously talking to her about a trade or just a straight up retirement at this point.
Clark is often disruptive as a 3-point shooter, but she can make good passes, as she did in the last minute or two. Clark needs to develop a two-point game, which will allow 😊her better to be integrated in the offense.

Congrats on the win. Fever is returning to the form from last year that got them points on the board. Appears that they do not have a way to incorporate CC into the game or build a team around the franchise pick of the draft. I hope the team does well the rest of the season but the CC experiment looks to be over and so is my interest in watching this team and the W.
I think CC is used to her team following her lead from Iowa, she needs to work on teamwork and overall helping the team in the best way possible. Which is why they had a great game today because it wasn’t how she usually plays and the approach was different.
@@JeffreyWallk I don’t think that will always be the case, I do think she needs to work on breaking old habits and truly adjust to the WNBA and can play like she usually does in some games and then in other games be the glue for the rest of the team and “take herself out of the equation” and focus on what the team needs and what would be best for them to win. If you’re not a Fever or WNBA fan, I’m assuming your viewership will then die down if she’s not being played as much as you like?
The Fever won the game, but they do not have a winning formula. For most of the game, Boston played the low post, made short shots and rebounded. Where has she been? On the other side of erratic scale, CC did not demonstrate her skills. Smith was there 50% of the time. Kelcey continues in her own orbit. And what is Wallace’s role? The only consistency is that the coach is wound up tighter than a drum. The GM is oblivious to the mismanagement of the talent on the roster. Unfortunately, the fans will see no meaningful changes anytime soon.

Caitlin played OK for a rookie, and she doesn’t deserve anyone talking about her after this game. People like you need to relax. She will have highs and lows for her rookie season. With Aaliyah playing better this will take all the pressure off of Caitlin, which she needs. With the break coming up these ladies will get more practice time which they need.

I think it is clear that Mitchell is her favorite but i also dont think it’s true that shes not maximizing cc potential. ALOT of CCs 3s aren’t making it in the league, her best game play in the league so far has been her assists. What worked for CC in college isn’t working in the league atm and that’s OKAY. GOOD players are able to learn adapt and grow. She’s still learning and growing. Fever played amazing as a TEAM today.

finally being aggressive for rebounds makes a big difference. the physicality from Aaliyah is a must. Caitlin was a facilitator, it’s not about points scored anymore it’s about getting the right looks so everyone is scoring and involved. CC did a great job defensively and of being unselfish and looking to her teammates. Amazing team win
I'm a fan of CC too. I get Coach playbook is not CC friendly. But Boston came up big! Every W buys coach time to fit CC better. Buys CC time to improve her dribble/handle. Think positive.
They just want CC to make 3 pointers. They don't realize this is the pros and CC plays on a team with other players and she needs to learn to be a team player. Aside from 3 pointers, Clark's game sucks. She certainly isn't a well rounded player, the coach is trying to build Clark's skill set
@@thomasdonohue1833 I feel once her dribble improves everything else will sort itself. I remember Kenneth "the Jet" Smith sharing a story how important it was for him to improve his dribble. Because once you got that sorted the turnovers go away. You can focus on scoring.
With the uptick in defense, Boston's improvement, Mitchell's steadiness, Clark improving in shot efficiency, and consistent contributions from others, I believe this team could actually finish above 500 by season's end. I know there's a lot of comments that Clark's potential is being neglected on this team . . . Maybe . . . And Sides does yet have to convince me she's a capable pro coach . . . But Clark's shooting efficiency needs improvement. If we can at least get Boston, Clark, and Mitchell in double-figures every game combined with a competent defense, we will be a winning team.

They practically keep her outside rather than inside the pitch today then they put her to clean the corners of the pitch, they never defended her from attacks on and off the pitch, I don't know when it can hold up and if it holds up for a long time in this situation the wnba and the media will be happy. come to europe CC
I fast forward over Christie at this point. I can’t do it anymore. I feel bad for a human on the chopping block of their job, but even if they somehow eek into the playoffs, this women will NEVER be at the level needed to take this team to the next level. The entire play scheme needs to change, and it’s going to require someone who knows how to do it. We want to watch exciting, offensive, winning basketball.
Ummm ... when a team drops 92 on someone in the WNBA, that is exciting offensive, winning basketball. And Sides deserves a lot of credit for this one. Boston and Mitchell can't have games like this without Clark drawing the defense. Everyone played a huge roll in this win.

Proud of AB in this game; she did her thing for real… on another note, I am a CC fan but some of y’all CC fans are so questionable and quite frankly, make no sense. So when CC has a decent or good game, but her teammates aren’t playing the best, it’s all about they need to be traded… but when CC has a not so good game, it’s all about trade CC and no one wants to watch layups etc, even though they won the game… basketball is a team sport… some games CC is gonna ball out, other times AB or Mitchell will ball out etc, or everyone might ball out… and yes, the coach makes questionable decisions but she at least has this season to make something work and find the team rhythm before the search for a new coach begins… like this is CC’s first year; there are some growing pains. This is also AB’s second year. They will both get better and eventually the team will find a rhythm and hopefully the coach can pull it together by end of season… show everyone some grace… if you want CC to do well, you also have to wish the team well also… let’s pretend we indulge in the delusions of trading CC; now what… she still needs a team. One person won’t win a championship… either you’re a fan of basketball or not
Thank you! People can be so mercurial from game to game (although I can’t be sure, I don’t know who random commenters are but it feels like it). CC had an off night while Boston and Mitchell had an on night. That doesn’t mean they hogged the ball or refused to pass to her, that means team members fed them the ball BECAUSE they AB and KM were hot. I’m so tired of reading people just demanding Sides be fired and so and so should be traded. For F’s sake people have funks and people have stellar performances days apart. As long as some team members are making it happen and other members are contributing defense and a couple buckets and they outscore the competition, that’s a win.
I've never seen Boston play better. Did you see those offensive moves? Not everyone has to have a good game every game. As long as the players on the court remain a unit, they have a good chance to win.

What is wrong with the fever during second halves of almost every game? Is the team cursed during second halves? They are explosive during the first half yet deflated on the second half.
The coach screws with their heads and demands a "set of standards" ... Low and slow ... Sunday will be a slaughter...Boston can't battle inside with taller players!
First half should be about the shooters, getting the other team worn out. Second half pass it down into the post, slow down the game. Thats why I think Fangbie should be used in the first half and than switch it up to Boston second half. And or the love of gosh, why doesnt the fever have a center, they have 8 guards but no center and Boston is listed as a forward.
They stopped double teaming Clark in the second half. They had to in order to put more pressure on Boston. Clark fans don't even realize how her mere presence on the court allows for this successful game plan from Sides. And, while I'm not crazy about Sides, she deserves a lot of credit for rallying the troops and having these ladies ready to go after what happened last game.
I agree. I wish Sides would play all of the bench players more, especially Hull, Berger, and Taylor. I don't see the point of Wallace getting starts and lots of minutes. And I worry about when Temi gets well (she is one of my favorites on this team and I hope she is back soon). Before her injury when she got a couple starts, it seemed to throw Smith into a funk. We need everyone playing well, and together, and the Fever could have a strong experienced deep bench if they are given a chance.

This game was BORING AF; people aren’t going to continue to pay hundreds of dollars to watch CC force passes into AB all game. What they’re doing to CC is a travesty. CC’s style of play is not compatible with coach sides’ plan.
First, I do watch because Caitlin Clark was drafted by the Fever. Second, last night was a tremendous win! Kudos to Christie Sides. I'm not totally sold on Sides because I feel she has some serious flaws. However, last night she had a killer game plan and those ladies were ready to rock it! You have to give credit where it's due. They dropped 91 points on a team that held the Liberty to 78, the Aces to 74, and the Sun to 69. You have to be a special kind of crazy if you think it was boring with no offense just because it wasn't Clark scoring the baskets. That was damn goid basketball. No, they didn't score as much the 2nd half, but the Dream also stopped double teaming Clark. They had to. LOL. Sides had the right plan against this team. Best game all year. The plan will have to change against the Sky Sunday. But if they get the back to back wins, I'll have to reconsider my feelings about the coaching.

The worst coach in professional basketball…. Please trade CC. It’s so obvious to everyone you don’t like her for your team. You are really telling in how you are coaching and in your comments. You have no plays …everyone can see this. Why you are still coaching this team is a wonder. This win was not good for the team really. A Boston needs to be able to play like this every game , but that doesn’t happen. K Mitchell … only solidify her desire to keep chucking shots … and you will continue to not play CC the way she should be utilized. She’s not a spot up player. Fever had a good first half becuase opposing star player went out with foul trouble, when she came back in Fever had no answer for her and they come back from 18 points. Clark seems too hesitant at time to shoot, while her teammates shoot whenever they want. Boston had a great game. It appears she is getting in playing shape. Early in the first, saw a hint of great ball movement and moving without the ball. Defense was tons better. Samuelson shot well. Wonder how Sides is working on the rest of the team confidence.

It’s not a CC offense! Coach went with an old post inside offense and outside shots if there and shots dropped which is usually! When post game was blocked they resorted to street ball again and had nothing and no points second half! Very poor adjustments!!! They have no screens or any alt offense and quit because coach doesn’t offer any new strategy!! They had effort and energy but still to offense! AB had rebound points only and took her 2 times to get them in! The big great centers won’t allow that! Atlanta weak under hoop. They underutilized Clark and out her on her weak side and left her to pass only to nobody again as usual! It’s bullcrap! She can’t play that way coach!!!!!!! 😡😡😡
When AB gets it down low and draws more than one defender, CC will be open for a three. They missed about 4-5 opportunities where CC could have got into a rhythm and make some points. And if AB gets that jump hook down, it’s going to be some duo. Then get Kelly cutting and screening and other players be in the right spot at the right time. Keep it up fever-get hot!
Fever, I'm happy for the team. You all have everything it takes to win and your recent efforts demonstrate that the team is coming into agreement with the coaching staff. It's a miracle! Mitchell has to 2 rebounds and 2 assists. I thought she is just a scorer with horse blinders or a one way player. Funny how nobody gave cc her credit for creating the double team's on her, which opens up her teamates for free and easy points. With CC as the decoy she passes to player number 2 who passes to a wide open player # 3, which erases cc as a scorer and also robs cc of her assists. Coach is gonna make sure that cc can not put up enough points to win rookie of the year in an attempt to lower her recognition. Teams seems very happy with cc out of the spotlight. CC showed up to work with "Habitat for Humanity" a few days back. She helped set up a basketball hoop for the 3 kids that will be living in the refurbished open. Then she played basketball with them. Truly enjoyed the video footage of that!! You rock CC!~!!!
Attended my first Fever game last night. The place was PACKED! 90% of the people in the stands were wearing Caitlin Clark shirts and/or carrying CC signs. Before the game, the Team Store was an absolute zoo of people buying CC merchandise. I later heard that there were 14,000 in attendance. We sat next to a couple who have been going to Fever games for years, and they said that, before Caitlin Clark, they used to draw about 1,500 to 2,000 people for a home game. The Caitlin Clark Effect is real. The Fever need to ride the wave!!!

Considering Clark was shuffled off to one corner, and basically no teammates passed the ball to her for the whole game until the Dream was up with only a couple of minutes to go and looking defeat in the eye Clark took control of the plays and was able to get off pinpoint passes to Boston who had easy buckets for the win.
Imagine if Don Nelson came up with the brilliant idea of trying to change Steph Curry's game as an NBA rookie by forcing him to shoot less 3-pointers and more two-pointers and layups. You can literally see how Caitlin's self-confidence is running low
Defense was great, and Boston had her best game of the season. She was physical and finished really well at the rim, she's had a bunch of games with high usage this year already where she simply didn't finish at the rim. However, it's still very apparent Sides has no idea how to use the #1 scorer in NCAA history. It's very troubling.

Coach Sides is delusional. The points in the paint are there every game. This is one of the few games where players have made their shots in the paint. Scoring 59 points in the first half and 32 points the second half means the opposing coach made adjustments at halftime that negatively impacted the ability of the team to score. The opposing team scored 44 points the first half and 40 points the second half. This means the adjustments coach Sides made at halftime had no impact on the ability of the opposing team to score. My guess is that coach Sides is okay with being delusional as it requires no effort. Being a coach that makes successful adjustments takes effort.
Sides made zero adjustments and forced Clark to keep passing inside from her weak side! I am furious! AB only got rebound points and took her 2-3 times to get them in! Nothing was excellent! Only 20pts in 2nd half! Very poor no screens and no offensive change! Atlanta blocked post second half and sides did not change anything!!!! 😡😡😡

Great win! Caitlin's shot wasn't falling, but the shots from many others on the team were. Great team win!! In the future when Clark gets hot along with AB, Kelsey, and Katie Lou, they can beat any team. Especially the way they played defense down the stretch. Plus Caitlin again had 7 assists and kept getting the ball to her teammates. She did what point guards do. Not sure why folks are complaining about the coaching.

CC gets double teamed more often than entire WNBA TEAMS do.
Doesn’t help that Boston can’t set a screen half the time and Sides only calls a play to create an opening for Caitlin maybe once every 2 games.
CC is great but she can’t do it all. Every player needs a double digit game so the opponent can’t focus on any one player. It’s a team sport. They will find their balance and be a dominant team over the next few years. Success doesn’t happen overnight.
This is what you get when the Fever hires a head coach from a JV high school team. They get the coach who can't coach, they get the coach who nearly lost the game in the second half, they get the coach that can't coach the fast break game. They get the coach who doesn't understand that you need to set screens 94 feet down the court to break the defense on Clark, so she can free up and pass the ball without turning it over. You get the coach who allows all the players to stand around while Clark is trying to bring the ball up the court, only to have a defender in her face with zero help from her teammates. That the Fevers game plan, I can take anyone off the street and have them coach the same way and still win 10 games a season.

The sun shines pretty bright around Caitlin. You get the feeling a lot of this game was about getting everyone else their shine. Not a bad thing. It can help morale. But until they figure out how to fire that cannon, they're still not going to win many battles. A win is a win though. Kudos.

The Fever won the game, but they do not have a winning formula. For most of the game, Boston played the low post, made short shots and rebounded. Where has she been? On the other side of erratic scale, CC did not demonstrate her skills. Smith was there 50% of the time. Kelcey continues in her own orbit. And what is Wallace’s role? The only consistency is that the coach is wound up tighter than a drum. The GM is oblivious to the mismanagement of the talent on the roster. Unfortunately, the fans will see no meaningful changes anytime soon.

finally being aggressive for rebounds makes a big difference. the physicality from Aaliyah is a must. Caitlin was a facilitator, it’s not about points scored anymore it’s about getting the right looks so everyone is scoring and involved. CC did a great job defensively and of being unselfish and looking to her teammates. Amazing team win

I'm a fan of CC too. I get Coach playbook is not CC friendly. But Boston came up big! Every W buys coach time to fit CC better. Buys CC time to improve her dribble/handle. Think positive.
They just want CC to make 3 pointers. They don't realize this is the pros and CC plays on a team with other players and she needs to learn to be a team player. Aside from 3 pointers, Clark's game sucks. She certainly isn't a well rounded player, the coach is trying to build Clark's skill set
@@thomasdonohue1833 I feel once her dribble improves everything else will sort itself. I remember Kenneth "the Jet" Smith sharing a story how important it was for him to improve his dribble. Because once you got that sorted the turnovers go away. You can focus on scoring.
With the uptick in defense, Boston's improvement, Mitchell's steadiness, Clark improving in shot efficiency, and consistent contributions from others, I believe this team could actually finish above 500 by season's end. I know there's a lot of comments that Clark's potential is being neglected on this team . . . Maybe . . . And Sides does yet have to convince me she's a capable pro coach . . . But Clark's shooting efficiency needs improvement. If we can at least get Boston, Clark, and Mitchell in double-figures every game combined with a competent defense, we will be a winning team.

They practically keep her outside rather than inside the pitch today then they put her to clean the corners of the pitch, they never defended her from attacks on and off the pitch, I don't know when it can hold up and if it holds up for a long time in this situation the wnba and the media will be happy. come to europe CC
I fast forward over Christie at this point. I can’t do it anymore. I feel bad for a human on the chopping block of their job, but even if they somehow eek into the playoffs, this women will NEVER be at the level needed to take this team to the next level. The entire play scheme needs to change, and it’s going to require someone who knows how to do it. We want to watch exciting, offensive, winning basketball.

Ummm ... when a team drops 92 on someone in the WNBA, that is exciting offensive, winning basketball. And Sides deserves a lot of credit for this one. Boston and Mitchell can't have games like this without Clark drawing the defense. Everyone played a huge roll in this win.
If I was sitting at the post game table I would have said, “when 2 or 3 players are covering Caitlin Clark it frees up other players and makes our game easier”.

Proud of AB in this game; she did her thing for real… on another note, I am a CC fan but some of y’all CC fans are so questionable and quite frankly, make no sense. So when CC has a decent or good game, but her teammates aren’t playing the best, it’s all about they need to be traded… but when CC has a not so good game, it’s all about trade CC and no one wants to watch layups etc, even though they won the game… basketball is a team sport… some games CC is gonna ball out, other times AB or Mitchell will ball out etc, or everyone might ball out… and yes, the coach makes questionable decisions but she at least has this season to make something work and find the team rhythm before the search for a new coach begins… like this is CC’s first year; there are some growing pains. This is also AB’s second year. They will both get better and eventually the team will find a rhythm and hopefully the coach can pull it together by end of season… show everyone some grace… if you want CC to do well, you also have to wish the team well also… let’s pretend we indulge in the delusions of trading CC; now what… she still needs a team. One person won’t win a championship… either you’re a fan of basketball or not

Thank you! People can be so mercurial from game to game (although I can’t be sure, I don’t know who random commenters are but it feels like it). CC had an off night while Boston and Mitchell had an on night. That doesn’t mean they hogged the ball or refused to pass to her, that means team members fed them the ball BECAUSE they AB and KM were hot. I’m so tired of reading people just demanding Sides be fired and so and so should be traded. For F’s sake people have funks and people have stellar performances days apart. As long as some team members are making it happen and other members are contributing defense and a couple buckets and they outscore the competition, that’s a win.
I've never seen Boston play better. Did you see those offensive moves? Not everyone has to have a good game every game. As long as the players on the court remain a unit, they have a good chance to win.

What is wrong with the fever during second halves of almost every game? Is the team cursed during second halves? They are explosive during the first half yet deflated on the second half.
The coach screws with their heads and demands a "set of standards" ... Low and slow ... Sunday will be a slaughter...Boston can't battle inside with taller players!
First half should be about the shooters, getting the other team worn out. Second half pass it down into the post, slow down the game. Thats why I think Fangbie should be used in the first half and than switch it up to Boston second half. And or the love of gosh, why doesnt the fever have a center, they have 8 guards but no center and Boston is listed as a forward.

They stopped double teaming Clark in the second half. They had to in order to put more pressure on Boston. Clark fans don't even realize how her mere presence on the court allows for this successful game plan from Sides. And, while I'm not crazy about Sides, she deserves a lot of credit for rallying the troops and having these ladies ready to go after what happened last game.
Lexie Hull has to continue to play. This girl plays extremely hard. I like her
I agree. I wish Sides would play all of the bench players more, especially Hull, Berger, and Taylor. I don't see the point of Wallace getting starts and lots of minutes. And I worry about when Temi gets well (she is one of my favorites on this team and I hope she is back soon). Before her injury when she got a couple starts, it seemed to throw Smith into a funk. We need everyone playing well, and together, and the Fever could have a strong experienced deep bench if they are given a chance.

This game was BORING AF; people aren’t going to continue to pay hundreds of dollars to watch CC force passes into AB all game. What they’re doing to CC is a travesty. CC’s style of play is not compatible with coach sides’ plan.

First, I do watch because Caitlin Clark was drafted by the Fever. Second, last night was a tremendous win! Kudos to Christie Sides. I'm not totally sold on Sides because I feel she has some serious flaws. However, last night she had a killer game plan and those ladies were ready to rock it! You have to give credit where it's due. They dropped 91 points on a team that held the Liberty to 78, the Aces to 74, and the Sun to 69. You have to be a special kind of crazy if you think it was boring with no offense just because it wasn't Clark scoring the baskets. That was damn goid basketball. No, they didn't score as much the 2nd half, but the Dream also stopped double teaming Clark. They had to. LOL. Sides had the right plan against this team. Best game all year. The plan will have to change against the Sky Sunday. But if they get the back to back wins, I'll have to reconsider my feelings about the coaching.

The worst coach in professional basketball…. Please trade CC. It’s so obvious to everyone you don’t like her for your team. You are really telling in how you are coaching and in your comments. You have no plays …everyone can see this. Why you are still coaching this team is a wonder. This win was not good for the team really. A Boston needs to be able to play like this every game , but that doesn’t happen. K Mitchell … only solidify her desire to keep chucking shots … and you will continue to not play CC the way she should be utilized. She’s not a spot up player. This team is terrible this coaching is terrible. Killing her spirit slowly is your goal. We all see it.
Fever had a good first half becuase opposing star player went out with foul trouble, when she came back in Fever had no answer for her and they come back from 18 points. Clark seems too hesitant at time to shoot, while her teammates shoot whenever they want. You can tell Clark is not an option for offense, the only shots she shoots are ones where she creates shots for herself, there are no plays for her.
Actually, Fever scored less in the second half because the Dream stopped double teaming Clark and put more pressure in the paint.
The best line up you had in this game was Boston, Clark, Wallace, Wheeler, & Hull, Celeste Taylor should’ve been in by the 2nd, size, speed, height, versatility, it’s either sink or swim with these rookies you can not, not develop their game because u a seeking a win, if that’s the case why did yall draft her? She could’ve been on a way better team that would use her effectively

Boston had a great game. It appears she is getting in playing shape. Early in the first, saw a hint of great ball movement and moving without the ball. Defense was tons better. Samuelson shot well. Wonder how Sides is working on the rest of the team confidence.

It’s not a CC offense! Coach went with an old post inside offense and outside shots if there and shots dropped which is usually! When post game was blocked they resorted to street ball again and had nothing and no points second half! Very poor adjustments!!! They have no screens or any alt offense and quit because coach doesn’t offer any new strategy!! They had effort and energy but still to offense! AB had rebound points only and took her 2 times to get them in! The big great centers won’t allow that! Atlanta weak under hoop. They underutilized Clark and out her on her weak side and left her to pass only to nobody again as usual! It’s bullcrap! She can’t play that way coach!!!!!!! 😡😡😡

When AB gets it down low and draws more than one defender, CC will be open for a three. They missed about 4-5 opportunities where CC could have got into a rhythm and make some points. And if AB gets that jump hook down, it’s going to be some duo. Then get Kelly cutting and screening and other players be in the right spot at the right time. Keep it up fever-get hot!
The bigs don't have a high low game. No passes out to 3 and lack of movement on perimeter.
Fever, I'm happy for the team. You all have everything it takes to win and your recent efforts demonstrate that the team is coming into agreement with the coaching staff. It's a miracle! Mitchell has to 2 rebounds and 2 assists. I thought she is just a scorer with horse blinders or a one way player. Funny how nobody gave cc her credit for creating the double team's on her, which opens up her teamates for free and easy points. With CC as the decoy she passes to player number 2 who passes to a wide open player # 3, which erases cc as a scorer and also robs cc of her assists. Coach is gonna make sure that cc can not put up enough points to win rookie of the year in an attempt to lower her recognition. Teams seems very happy with cc out of the spotlight. Ungrateful and selfish overall

You mean Clark passes to her teammates and they never pass it back to her..... Wheeler and Mitchell are ball hogs. They force the ball down to the paint. Clark doesn't drive often because she gets hit multiple times and no foul is called.... everyone else gets foul calls when they drive. The refs hate Clark
