Agreed. My list for justified removal includes Aileen Cannon, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito Jr., John Roberts, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.
A few? There are plenty that should never have been appointed in the first place. To be honest I would stop concentrating on the judges and start reforming the system by which they are appointed, assessed and removed if they are not up to scratch. It is not just that the politics pollutes everything in America but that the politics is in many ways immature and disingenuous.
Who knows if she's getting tips from close to those list of names with ways to delay Trump's trial.
I have been saying it for months that the 11th circuit are seeing all this and something is fishy if they are all quiet and not see Aileen is having fun holding up the 2nd main case to put Trump away.

Yes, I'm suspicious about that. If there was some underhanded dealing going on, I hope it's exposed. She had already been slapped down by the 11th circuit for interfering in the investigation. That should have utterly disqualified her for presiding over this case.
It’s my understanding that currently she is 1 of only 3 of the requisite 5 judges in Florida that could have been chosen to hear this case. The other two openings are being held up intentionally by the 2 Republican senators in Florida. Biden has been stalled by them from naming his own picks. If he had been able to before this case came up the chances of her being picked were then 1 in 5.

I firmly believe that Judge Cannon is not incompetent but actually very deliberately working to help Trump and that she is being advised by senior members of the Federalist Society.
I have those very thoughts! I don't think she is smart enough to be hindering the prosecution so well without help/instructions from others! I also wondered whether grounds existed for her personal communications to be subpoenaed.

Judge Cannon will stay on this case as long as she can, helping Trump. When she is eventually removed from the case, or, steps down herself, another Judge will have to be appointed, which will take time for that Judge to update him/ herself , and she will have completed her task of delaying the case coming to court.
Demand she rules now! Then 11th circuit.
If ordering the jury and prosecution to entertain an unlawful scenario based on fantasy that would likely result in dismissal is not grounds for recusal, our system is fundamentaly flawed. Cannon offers no explanation so actions (and lack of) should be the core basis for a decision. Deciding for the prosecution what should be on trial is also unprecedented and unfair.
This woman shouldn't be anywhere near a Judges bench.
