Beautiful house! Probably the first walkthrough video I’ve seen that I didn’t mentally remodel anything. Except for updating some paint, I would keep everything exactly the way it is.
What a treasure this historical home is!! I hope someone doesn’t strip it of its architectural beauty!! I’d love to see Mark D. Sikes work his magic on this house…
Quick note to say all systems - HVAC, electric, plumbing - have been completely upgraded to today's needs and standards, all work expertly done without disturbing the historic detail and character. Very impressive, skilled work so it's also ready to be lived in as a modern, everyday home.
Thank you Jose Prats for agreeing to feature this listing and allowing me to be your guide. We had so much fun and it seems like that comes through in the tour. And are we married forever now???
The small hidden staircase was most likely for staff access. My cousin and his wife revived a home from the same era and it has servants staircases and a foot switch under the dining table so that the butler could be notified to bring in the next course of the meal.
Thank you for the kind words! A home like this, built in 1929, would have likely been appointed with luxurious Art Deco furnishings, including sleek upholstered sofas, inlaid wood dining tables, and ornate bedroom sets with lacquered finishes. High-end materials like exotic woods, velvet, chrome, and marble would have been used, blending modern elegance with traditional touches like grand chandeliers and richly carved cabinetry.

It really is a timeless design!
There you go!
Beautiful.
Thank you!
Gorgeous estate! A street view of the neighborhood would have been nice. Really, really unique and a priceless piece of art in itself.
Thank you, I agree it’s truly one of a kind! I should have included a street view, will do this for my next tour!
Exactly right
I love all the artwork throughout the house.
Yes they have some great pieces in the house!
Ludowici roos are one of the truly premiere roofing materials available for fine buildings. Nice video!

Great house!
One of a kind!
normally not into big city homes, by this is pretty nice. If I had buckets of money and needed city living, this would be great.
It’s hard to resist that charm!

That’s such a cool original detail to keep in a house! Thanks for sharing!
I would like to know what type of furnishings they originally appointed this house with? This is stunning. Thank you.
