I checked all the fuses but the rear AC heater display is not even lighting up or coming on when you look back there in the back seat where that unit is there's no power going to it and all the fuses are good
I’m having trouble with my 01 Yukon .. the rear ac and heat are not working AT ALL on any speeds there’s power power to blower and resistor I replaced the resistor and NOTHING . When I take the blower out and give it direct power it blows so I don’t think it’s the blower smh this thing has me stumped
If the actuators are not the problem and fan doesn't make a noise. I need to change the entire thing? If so whats the entire part called. My ac is not working from the back rear only front and passengers i have a 03 Escalade cadillac. How can i know what tje issue is exactly? Any tips of how to diagnose why my ac is not working properly? Please and Thank you
Maria i would start by checking the rear blower motor (fan) which can be changed by itself. You might have an electrical issue or simply a bad motor on that fan.
@@T_B_C_L I saw your vid great job but what made you decide to switch out that whole unit versus the actuators I'm having the same issue with hot air in the back .
Homie Hektor my Escalade blows cold air then swaps to hot in a matter of seconds then back to cold only in the rear though .. please help , do you know if I have to swap out the whole unit like you did on this video?
I hear a liquid leaking/ metal tapping noise (am not sure which it is) in the rear passenger side like a drop a second in my 2005 Chevy Tahoe, and I'm losing coolant with no signs of leaks anywhere else in the Tahoe, could this be where I'm losing coolant at?
Yo, that recharge, heater core, etc.is a pita and mighty expensive. Who knows how long the junkyard unit will hold...cut it open and reinforce the door!

check engine light has notting to do with the ac system
My rear ac just blows whatever temp is outside.,cant get heat or cold air .but front ac works fine what do i check first? 03 tahoe

STEVE Yes Sir, A/C refrigerant and labor is expensive. Truck hasn’t been back so it’s holding up well
