- Chris Ardoin & NuStep Zydeko performing live from a closed set in Lafayette, Louisiana during the Covid 19 pandemic! Louisiana venues have been closed since March 15, 2020 & life as we knew changed dramatically. On December 27, 2020 the band decided to film a live one hour set for the fans who haven't been able to see them live all year from one of their favorite & most frequented venues!!!

Chris & NuStep, I was born & raised in Ascension Parish until moved away at 19, that was 31 years ago. Live in Hong Kong now and can't go home to see my folks, but was happy to see this video pop up on my feed. Really made my day, dancing around my concrete box, but sure feel closer to home now.
