In this video we will take you to Chaturbhuj Temple which is said to be the most unique temple of Orchha
Orchha is dominated by the sheer size of this temple. It is constructed on a huge platform about 15 feet high and its tall peaks seem to stretch upwards to the clouds. The visitor has to climb wide stairs to reach the entrance at that time. It is located to the south of the temple of Ram Raja and was constructed to house an image of the deity Rama. Although this was the initial reason for the construction of the temple, it never materialized. In its place, there is a temple with a figure of Radha Krishna. Tourists can enter the temple for a small fee. It is believed that Madhukar Shah started the construction of the Chaturbhuj temple, but it was completed only during the reign of his son Bir Singh Dev.
