The figures on sexual assault and abuse faced by women is disproportionately far higher and remains almost consistent over time and demographic variations. With reactionary counterwave against progressivism on the rise and the unrelenting control over a corrosive political economy of desire, it is revolting to even think that we continue as a civilization to revel in the worst of our traits.
