In the arms of Christ you went to rest May19th 2020 Dr. Ravi now home eternally and now worshiping with the elders and also with the Heroes of faith from Hebrews 11.
If it isn't from the Lord himself , who can make such incredible speech full of wonderful stories and truth? What a marvelous gift of God! Superb! I wonder how the Lord manifests his work in men like Ravi Zachariah. Glory to God!!!
you probably dont care but does any of you know a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me
Ravi Zacharias What can be said for such a genuine gentleman, who was always glorifying the Almighty Lord and attributing all his success to His amazing grace. Such a highly educated, decorated and well connected person, and so humble, down to earth. What a glittering personality. Always a pleasure and privilege to hear him. Never met him, and that would be a lifelong regret. Even at this age, the ability to recite the text, context, and recall the names, and events, what a blessing. It all stands on sincere discipline, dedication, determination and complete fear of the Lord. All that comes to my mind, bearing in mind, Ravi's constant travel, a back pain, with 2 titanium rods in the back, not able to bend for 27 years, yet cheerfully walking out to preach the gospel. Always ready to hear out, giving time to ordinary people. What an example! The following passage, so beautifully sums up Ravi's evangelical mission "For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold," 2 Timothy:4:3 "And will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions." 2 Timothy:4:4 "As for you, be calm and cool and steady, accept and suffer unflinchingly every hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fully perform all the duties of your ministry." 2 Timothy:4:5 "For I am already about to be sacrificed [my life is about to be poured out as a drink offering]; the time of my [spirit's] release [from the body] is at hand and I will soon go free." 2 Timothy:4:6 "I have fought the good (worthy, honorable, and noble) fight, I have finished the race, I have kept (firmly held) the faith." 2 Timothy:4:7 Yes, Ravi Zacharias had fought a good fight and kept the faith, even when the physical body was groaning with pain and discomfort, and warmth of the home and comfort of routine life was beckoning.....Ravi willingly and enthusiastically chose to do His Master's bidding. What an amazing blessing and testimony, Ravi's life has been to those who had the privilege to meet, interact and share his beliefs in person or through media. And a great thing that Ravi did, was to create a platform for the future.... where highly educated, brilliant minds are trained in apologistic to reach the world. Ravi was so magnanimous that he allowed the new members of the team to share and address the conferences ahead of him. A truly wonderful gentleman. How gloriously true the following verses are for Ravi's life "[The Lord] raises the poor out of the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap and the dung hill," Psalms:113:7 "That He may seat them with princes, even with the princes of His people." Psalms:113:8 A youngster from India, finds his situation so grim and hopeless, that he attempts suicide, is saved just in nick of time, reaches out to life, just because someone reached out to him with Gospel in the hospital. When he found the God's love in his life, he was so eager to share the Love of God with the lost souls of the world. Willing and ready to go everywhere, anytime to share the Gospel. I am from Bangalore, India who never had the privilege to see/meet Ravi in person but am blessed by his ministry. Thank you,. God bless you all. Praveen Das

Yes I also have that book I have not finished reading it but I also have many other of his books his book can man live without God that was a great book I love his sermons and books great thinker of our times may God counting to bless him
God exists in Himself. Who else can define the Infiniteness of God other than this power imbued vessel called Ravi Zacharias. It's a blessing to hear all about our Father God from a God Lover.
Who, what is God? Funny that I haven’t bothered to ask myself and has always dismiss whoever ask me this question as heretical. Now I can defend this faith of mine.
When you are asked a silly question, the best way to answer is to answer the person according to his foley, and then he will realize how unsustainable his claim is. Christianiy is the only view, that can account for life as we know it. We can explain value, logic, reason love and meaning. Atheism however, cannot even sustain the ability to reason. Have you ever really considered this? How life would look like without God?
That would be a violation of thermodynamics. The energy will not go anywhere. Energy isn't "used up" it's simply converted. If you understood thermodynamics you would realize the spontaneous processes add entropy not those which use energy. Energy is capable of doing work, work can create order from disorder. With energy you can align all the random atoms in a piece of iron for example and create a magnet which is an ordered thing.
my bad bro, i should have said usable energy would run out. you are right energy itself cannot be created or destroyed however usable energy would. the energy required to create special features such as stars and galaxies is constantly diminishing with each cycle, disorder increases with time and an infinite cycle would have reached maximum entropy already. if this cycle of expansion and contraction has been happening for ever our current universe should be in a state of maximum disorder.
I wonder though why he didn't preach in Hindi in his own country? I remember that their was a city in India called Bombay. That's what I remember growing up.
Bangalore, the silicon valley of india, is a part of Southern India where people from throughout the country and from abroad come to work. So it's no surprise he chose to stick with english and honestly being an Indian I couldn't even imagine words in hindi that could really do justice to what he wanted to say anyways.
India is a land of many languages. Hindi is just one of them. In Bangalore where he was speaking not many speak Hindi. Secondly. Ravi himself may not be so comfortable with Hindi. I admire his English and feel proud that someone born in my city (Chennai) can hold even westerners spellbound with his oratory ! May he rest in peace.

wrong - a cyclic universe is what you are talking about will also ultimately run out of energy and reach maximum entropy. you should probably read up on alexander vilenkin. a universe thats constantly expanding and coalescing would still use up all its energy unless it is being fueled by an outside source. the same thing applies to your multiverse wishful thinking as well. it takes more than materialism to understand a mere reflection of God, with an entity so powerful one shud expect that
The popular alternative is believing a scientist that tells you, 'you are an pointless accident' with no final adequate proof for first cause. Is that your stance?
I remember throwing his books out in 2016... I am more vindicated now than before... Listent to Piper, JI Packer, Wayne Grudem, Paul Washer and others not to this pathological liar.
You don't really understand thermodynamics and I think you know this. It is quite possible the Universe is like a rubber band that expands until it runs out of energy and then coalesces back onto itself. So there, the Universe just resets over and over. If you can claim your god has simply always existed I will claim the Universe has always existed and your god is no longer a required part of the equation. We can all just make claims without evidence but that gets us no nearer to the truth.
That's absolutely false, there is mountains of evidence for God, but there is craters of ignorance in the depth of man. The question of "Why something rather than nothing?", "Why the apparent design all over creation?" "The resurrection of Jesus Christ, the witnesses!", "The truth in all the prophesied texts, how about the exact date for Israel's rebirth?" "How about the existence of morality, and intrinsic value of humans?" How about a series of supernatural occurrences and many testimonies?
It is the very definition of God, to be all power. If he is bound by something, i.e time. He is no longer great, and therefor he is no longer God. This is simple logic. My world view is the only world view that can account for logic and reason. We can have knowledge becuase God exists, however your world view cannot account for any of these. You did not adress the question I posed to you. If we are going to have a debate then atleast have an honest one. No need for bashing.
I find your statement quite ironic. If all you are is matter, then all your thoughts are just chemical reactions, acting upon life. How do you know that your senses are trustworthy and not decieving you? Reasoning, that you are able to reason, is in itself circular reasoning. If all you are is matter. As for God being created, this is simply a false argument. No one believes in created Gods, God always existed. That is the very definition of God. He is life, not the other way around.
Ravi Zacharias died an unrepentant sexual predator who vastly harmed too many women for decades. Out of compassion for his many victims, please delete this video immediately.
God used even pagan kings as his messengers in the Scripture. Even though in the end it looks like Ravi was just a talented actor who was really only interested in himself, I'm still convinced God used him to do countless good things, by his own decree, not Ravi's intentions.
The universe cannot be eternal, the laws of thermo dynamic, causes entropy which proves it cannot have always existed. As you know, energy cannot be destroyed or created. Energy always goes from usable energy to unsuable energy. If the unvierse was eternal, then we would have no usable energy left. But there still is, so it means it cannot be eternal. :)
OMG, while this guy has some nice fun story's, he's so full of shit. Why do Christians spend so much time convincing people there is a god. If they already know about jesus and heaven, what's next? Well, what's Christianity good for? Well, prayer should have this whole world all healed and well. We shouldn't have much death from diseases, especially for children. Yet every year, 9 million children under the age of 5 years old die from all sorts of illness. I would imagine 80% are religious, at least 50% are Christian.....and they all prayed for there little child to be healed. If ever a person wants prayer to work, it would be for your child. I've seen parents blame themselves for their child dying.....for their lack of belief....their faith. Others will say that "god works in mysterious ways" I'm sorry, but as Sam Harris says, that's just playing tennis without the net. Really, that is not what many very hurt and emotionally destroyed parents would agree with. They spend so much time preaching and continuously supporting an irrational belief system, that I don't see what they really do with how great they are.
mcquality55 Well, most of us have old habits. Often I'll say "Jesus Christ" when frustrated, but it means little to me. Don't be an asshole and read more into it than there is! And I'm guessing that's your brilliant moment of the day? The rest of my comment is interesting too and deserving of some pondering I would hope!
Your comment doesn't seem to indicate you are a happy or well-adjusted person. You seem very ignorant and angry as most atheists, especially Sam Harris, are. Too bad.
bermudaguy1 1. "My friends would not agree" Look up "appeal to authority" It is a fallacy in which someone seeks to persuade an audience not by giving evidence but by appealing to the respect people have for someone else. I do not know your friends nor are they relevant. They have no authority. 2. "but then I'm sure you make snap judgments all the time...." Only in response to your snap judgement and to the extent a youtube post provides.Your additional snap judgment of my cognitive approach is without basis and appears to be quite hypocritical based on your posts. 3. However, let me add "argumentative" to the list, and not in the positive sense. You demonstrate very poor logical skills. I suggest you continue to watch Dr. Zacharias and study a master logician.
