Her name was Shirley in Madea’s Big Happy Family as well. Sharon Leal’s last name was Whitfield in Soul Men also. Dude was played by rapper/producer David Banner. Lupe Ontiveros (Rosie) played the worst character in music biopic history. She played Yolanda (Selina’s killer) in Selina. After watching these black family movies i’ve come to the realization that Soul Food is the blueprint for black family movies. Every black family movie that came out after it mirrors it. R.I.P.
