- Join me on this very long (very condensed for you...) journey on learning to knit a sweater from scratch with no pattern!! Was this a good idea? maybe... was it frustrating? absolutely at times. But hey, we did get a sweater out of it!

As an actual knitter/crocheter I was cringing hahah but I also live for the way you just eyeball it and it turns out okay. My stresslevels could neverrrr

Your sweater came out so cute! I don’t think my first sweater will look that good.
To make it easier next time, just knit a swatch which is 4x4 inch and count how many stitches are per inch and use that with your measurments☺️✌🏼

Bruh I've been knitting for practically my whole life and I've always just considered swatches a thing for guage and never thought to use it for sizing 🤦♀️ thank you stranger 💕😂

What does 4x4 mean? Like an all even swatch on all 4 sides. Low-key don’t understand for some odd reason 😅
@@terry4berry it means all sides are 4 inches long :)
I love it!! (just a tip for cuffing-i put multiple sweater stitches into one cuff stitch so it doesnt strech out the cuff!!!)
Yesterday I started finger knitting and I could only make small ropes and today I knitted a baby beanie I'm proud of myself and you melanie
