Helpful video, thanks Ryan. I have couple questions, one is where to publish our portfolios, for example if we are working with Excel or Power BI, what are some of the best platforms if I don’t have my own website? I understand it makes sense to use something like Kaggle for projects in Python or R. So should we use multiple platforms? Another questions is, do we send out our cover letter along with resume (when we are applying) or do you think its a thing of the past?

1. Platform wise, IMO you can build a very basic wordpress, or wix site. I say that as I still need to build out my data website... but I'm using my UA-cam for now until I get a free weekend.
2. Definitely can use multiple platforms, but don't expect a recruiter or company to look at every platform
3. A cover letter doesn't hurt imo. But if I was hiring, I would look more at the skills/experience on the resume
