Excellent video. I wished I had watched it before sending my brand new Scubapro G2 through the local dive shop (where I had bought it) into Scubapro for service. The G2 wasn't recharging. I didn't know the correct direction to plug the sync cable into my computer, and neither did the dive shop which sold it to me. When they got it back from Scubapro, Scubapro said there was nothing wrong with it. So much for dive shops that don't support their products but complain about people buying off the Internet.
This computer is a little jewel, love it at first i made the mistake to buy a aqualung i750 a real nightmare bugs, no autonomy you have to change the batterie every 6 dives! The menu was so poor! And it's impossible to read anything when the light is bright! Fortunately i 've been refunded. Galileo 2 is perfect! You can read it even when light is really bright! The complete opposite! Wonderful! From France, good dives guys! ;-)
Owner of ScubaPro G2 wireless. PERFECT....except there is so much glare on the screen, I cannot read it. Very disappointed and ScubaPro says “oh...you’re th first to,mention this.” Caveat....before you buy one, dive it and see how reflective the screen is. I’ll take my old LCD Galileo Luna over this one. At least I can read it!
Hi Ron, It's funny you mention that. Whenever I have called them, a tech will also tell me I am the first to mention the problem and that they know of no other problems and that they were unable to replicate it, even though I was able to replicate it with other healthy divers. They have said the same thing about another problem. I have owned both the Galileo Sol and the Scubapro G2. When I called to mention the heart-rate monitor would jump up into the 200 bpm range, they would say they never heard of it, but they allowed me to do a trade up from my Sol to a G2. The G2 is more stable with its heart-rate-monitor, but I do get bpm up in the high 200's and close to 300's. My cardiologist said she didn't believe the high numbers and that my G2 must be inaccurate; she said they can't hardly get me over 100 bpm on a treadmill. For the glare, put the screen in the All-White mode. This helps for very clear water with the Sun directly over you. Otherwise, I use Green & White for darker water.
Yeah and also said there were other screen modes but seemed he was only able to fidget back and forth stating the obvious, as if we didn't know that you can go back and forth in the menu. This is 3 years old and they're too damn lazy to update it.
I have the older Galileo Sol. It has a replaceable protective glass on top of the screen. I have changed that a few times as it gets scratched over time (had 300+ dives with the computer). How is the problem solved in the G2? Is there a replaceable screen protection?

Definitely looks like top kit. Still like the eon steel tho maybe better
love it, but with me just after christmas its a case of champagne tastes, beer budget
Do we have the option of tracking the burnt calories while strapped with the HRM?
one of the best dive computers i've owned. can anyone please indicate to me how to use the strap retainer among the accessories ?
