  • Six years and 173 mandatory matches in brown and white were enough for Rhineland-Palatinate-born Walter Frosch to achieve legend status at St. Pauli. The trained chimney sweep conquered not only the title of "Card King" between 1976 and 1982 but also the hearts of many fellow players and #FCSP fans.
On 23 November 2013, Walter Frosch passed away in his adopted home of Hamburg after a serious illness. On the occasion of the 8th anniversary of his death, we have compiled some beautiful memories of "Froschi" for you.
In the eyewitness interviews - an important part of our work as the #FCSPMuseum - former FCSP President Wolfgang Kreikenbohm, Michael Lorkowski and Buttje Rosenfeld, among others, talk about the time they spent together with Walter Frosch at the #Millerntor.
