I just finished A Sorceress Comes to Call and it was a 5⭐ read for me! I miss the story and I'm even kind of in a slump because it was so good I'm struggling to pick up anything else. 😩 The Thirteenth Child is easily one of my favorite books of the year! Absolutely recommend! You will LOVE it!!
Look at you on top of all the new releases! 👏🏻 I’m so glad you loved BOTH of these, so that gives me hope for when I read them too! I’ve had too many disappointments with new books this year. 🤭
Spells for Forgetting - while it wasn't my favorite, it was still decent, very atmospheric and the mystery kept me interested enough to finish it. Highly recommend the audiobook - it has a full-cast narration and helps with the experience.
Yay another TBR! I get so many recommendations from watching your videos! 💛 I am so excited for A Sorceress Comes to Call! I plan on starting the book club pick earlier this month and not wait until the last minute. lets see if that happens. 😂
Happy Medium is so great. Hope you enjoy it as much as did. Finished it in two day and now I’m sad it’s over. A book has never made me cry, but this one did.
Those lady Macbeth end pages are giving me the last unicorn movie. Such a great movie that is actually based on a book. The book has been on my TbR for way too long. But back to fall TBR just picked up my Wisteria hold from the library yesterday and I am sooooo excited!
I’m loving the fall vibes❤ My book club just read AGGGTM in August and we are going to watch the TV show together next week. I really enjoyed the book and I’m more excited to continue on with the series after what you said about the crazy plot twists.
I love all your Fall vibes I can't wait till Fall. You have a great tbr for September. I have Such Sharp Teeth, The Unraveling and We Used To Live Here on my tbr. Belladonna is on my radar I'm not a big fantasy reader, but you have intrigued me to pick it up. Happy Reading!
I love the cover of Given Our History also. Which is why I was just staring at it night before last. Look at it again. They turned his head the wrong way. He’s walking away but his head is coming toward you. The author is aware. Said it’s like that on the UK versions as well. I thought I’d judged him before reading it and may he’s got a side hustle as a contortionist. We had a laugh about it. I’m excited to read it. The cover is gorgeous, regardless.
Watching you while drinking my matcha latte ❤️ I'm currently reading Carry on by Rainbow Rowell. I'm soooo late in the game. I hesitated to reread HP but I know the books by heart at this point... and it's the perfect book for a reading slump.
I’m planning to read Belladonna and Spells for Forgetting as well! I also want to read Somewhere Beyond the Sea by Tj Klune, omg I’m so excited for it!!💗
Currently listening to Foxglove and i cant get enough so want to read Wisteria. Lady Macbeth also sound's awesome. This video is just what I needed to end the week! Thanks. 🍂🤎🧡
"Spells for Forgetting" was really good, but had more vibes than real plot. But it was still one of my favorites of last year. I tried reading "Belladonna" last December, but DNFed after about 100 pages. But recently a friend convinced me to give it another try on KU, and I'm happy to say I'm enjoying it more this time around!

Several people I know aren’t fantasy readers & have also loved belladonna! 😘

Impatiently waiting for you to read Emily Wilde 😭

@@mymindfullife7554 Enjoy Wisteria. I'm sure it's going to be great 👌
I haven’t read Ava Reid’s work yet but I was keen on the idea of Lady Macbeth so I got my library to preorder it for me 🐍 🗡
Her writing is soooo good!!!
