Team USA was slow compared to the all stars. All stars had 60% more fast break points, more points in the paint, more second chance points, and almost 1/2 the turnovers. Team USA was out hustled by Team WNBA. Caitlin Clark, as floor general, is a proven motivator and fast break facilitator.
All stars led by 20 at one point. Embarrassing. Taurasi was mortified. She let her team know it was not acceptable. But it happened. They have to deal with that. Don't think the European teams didn't take note of all this.

Hilarious! What made the ALL STAR game so damn good is that both teams played hard. It felt like a very competitive game. Both teams wanted to win. Didnt mind the face-guarding Caitlin in an ALL STAR game, after all IT IS what made CC's pass THAT much fun to watch. I'm glad Cheryl took the game seriously, because CC absolutely delivered and what made the game such a treat! Can NBA do the same?

The other thing to note is the other player for the All Stars who was in the middle of the play watching the pass to Boston. She looks so amazed after the play she just stares at Clark and says somethin...somethin like she is absolutley amazed at what looked like a potentially broken up play turning into gold!
Indeed, I am a true CC fan. Admittedly, like millions of other new fans, I am also Addicted to the Endorphin Dump that we get every time CC makes a thrilling behind the back assist, a 3 from the parking lot, a full court dime on time assist, a block on a 6’7” LA player, a defense ankle breaking step back 3, a behind the back threw the legs spinning dart to the hoop layup, a dribble under the hoop just hit a cutting KM, or under the hoop behind the back bounce to AB. Currently CC is “The Greatest Showman” on the court, M or W. Not to mention CC’s unmatched Court IQ as CC directs the entire circus unfolding before our very eyes 😉👍

Most of them won't do it publicly. They don't want to piss off the Big Club. CC is not in the Big Club (like Taurasi, Griner, Wilson, Plum etc.). There are a few that really do like and support her. Not every player is a hater, but they have to be careful what they say in support of CC. If they value their lives and careers.

Your analysis in this play is absolutley hilarious! I loved this play when I saw it and then various replays... But you nailed this! The other thing to note is the other player for the All Stars who was in the middle of the play watching the pass to Boston. She looks so amazed after the play she just stares at Clark and says somethin...somethin like she is absolutley amazed at what looked like a potentially broken up play turning into gold!

Indeed, I am a true CC fan. Admittedly, like millions of other new fans, I am also Addicted to the Endorphin Dump that we get every time CC makes a thrilling behind the back assist, a 3 from the parking lot, a full court dime on time assist, a block on a 6’7” LA player, a defense ankle breaking step back 3, a behind the back threw the legs spinning dart to the hoop layup, a dribble under the hoop just hit a cutting KM, or under the hoop behind the back bounce to AB. Currently CC is “The Greatest Showman” on the court, M or W. Not to mention CC’s unmatched Court IQ as CC directs the entire circus unfolding before our very eyes 😉👍

Most of them won't do it publicly. They don't want to piss off the Big Club. CC is not in the Big Club (like Taurasi, Griner, Wilson, Plum etc.). There are a few that really do like and support her. Not every player is a hater, but they have to be careful what they say in support of CC. If they value their lives and careers.
