I thought Tucker might be jealous, having to share you with a newcomer. I didn't think about Tucker and Newbee at odds over the pony. Interesting dynamic. Your content is always entertaining and informative. Blessings to all of you!🌻🐎
I’m so glad you’re getting another horse! I finally started watching you again, I had to stop after my mare passed because I just couldn’t look at horses. I bought another OTTB mare this week and I’m so happy to get back to what feels like normal life
I never watched an ad so happily in my life because I knew what was after😆 i also love how your showing you husband more now your youtube feels complete like a family and o my gosh The the new horse is gorgeous😱
So cool! My husband got really into horses and we got him a morgan cross too, about a year ago 😄 He's gotten really into cowboy mounted shooting! It will be cool to see this pony grow up with you!
CONGRATULATIONS, Carmella!! How exciting that you got a new baby!! Your farm is absolutely beautiful. I’ve seen your place here and there in your videos, but this is the best look that I have gotten of it. So awesome! The Newbee is precious and seems to have such a fun personality. Yay!!!
Congrats! Your new boy is so sweet! Sturdy build, and I can already see the beginnings of some draft leg feathering. He really is still a baby ~ loved seeing how he was all "don't hurt me, I'm a baby" @14:06 (clacking - had to Google that, lol) with Tucker . They're going to be great buddies! 🥰
Omg girl-he is adorable! I’m so looking forward to you trying him and training hubby to train him! It’s exciting to see this from the beginning with a brand new baby! ❤
That's exciting! My youngest two boys adopted a 2yr old blm mustang 3 weeks ago. She is very much like "Pony Boy". Super laid back, nothing excites her, etc. So calm that on day 3, we could catch, halter, lead, pick up her feet, and load in a trailer. She's been out with our other horses since the 4th day. We're actually taking the horses to the mountains this weekend and our new mustang "Sunshine" is going with us to spend some time being ponied.
What hma did you get your mustang from? Mine was silver king Nevada and she was wild as can be. But one year later, she is calm, well trained, and I just love her. But always curious to see what hmas have the more mellow ones lol
@@alisonjem This one came from the Salt Wells HMA. I also have a mustang from Stewart Creek, and he is turning into a very nice horse. Being from WY, I'm partial to the Wyoming Mustangs.
So excited to see this journey for all of you, now including Colin! I do not have a horse and I am an adult with dreams of having one in my life. So, I will love seeing Colin have a go at it for a newer horsey person. 😅 The new pony is super cute. But I so love Tucker and Yoshi too. Wishing you the best with all of them and thank you for sharing with us…can’t wait to see the adventure 😃
Congratulations, Carmela, Colin, Tucker and Yoshi! I look forward to watching Colin's journey with him over the coming years! I'm sure with your guidance Carmela, Colin's horse journey will be amazing! Welcome little one!❤
Congratulations on your beautiful baby. I've had horses all my life, including thoroughbreds and a Friesian but I got my first Shire 4 years ago and could not believe what a different character he has. 18 hh stallion now and he is still so gentle and tries to please. Two downsides with him...he can push through anything so everything has to be reinforced. Second thing, he has to be trained ultra gently. He cannot take harshness in any way, so it's a pretty interesting balancing act. I can't wait to see your journey with this beautiful guy.
There's a natural relfex reaction point for picking up the foot: Squeeze the chestnut on the inside of the front legs annd the horse will pick up his foot and you can then handle it. Also, if you cap the hock and suwwzw that's the natural reflex point for the hind legs. Makes it much easier to pick up feet that way. It may take a minute of squeezing the first time, but after a few times you just reach for the chestnut and they 'hand you their foot'. Good luck with your new one!
Oh my goodness he's so cute!!! I love his back right hoof and coronet that's a different color and his black socks. I have a 17 year old 16.3 hand Amish Percheron/Andalusian cross and his face looks very similar to the new cutie. Mine's a pretty chill dude as well, though he does have his moments when it comes to food. On trail he basically never spooks at anything natural, even if a deer is right in front of him. Can't wait to hear what the new guy's name is going to be and his journey with y'all!
What a surprise! I look at horses online all the time. And there are so many that I would say - let’s go look at that one. But, my more practicalside says - take your time. You got a lot of things to take care of before you can buy a horse. But, when you know, you know. I’m so happy for you guys! He’s a cutie!
Hey Carmella congratulations! I hope you guys make some amazing memories! Love your videos! Watched you for a while since you were only with Tucker at the other barn
A Percheron/Morgan cross is basically my dream horse. 🤩 Congrats! Granted you only showed a few seconds, but Tucker didn't seem overly aggressive to me. New kid didn't exactly have the best manners when they were meeting over the fence. Which is to be expected, because he is a baby, but it's perfectly appropriate for Tucker to tell him that his manners are bad. Of course, again, I'm just basing that comment off of the little bit of interaction we see here, which is not all that there is.
Oh! Exciting! Looking forward to all your upcoming videos 👍👍 I've always wanted to learn how to shoot arrows from horseback too.I have 2 horses and I have a compound bow. I just don't have the courage to try it honestly 😊
omg dude new favorite equine youtuber. just found you bc of this video and you're not too over the top, your voice is nice to listen to AHHHHH i love your videos sm! congrats on your new house girl!
Congratulations Carmella, Collin and every animals you have. I am like obsessed with horses and I am so happy that you got a new horse he / she is very good girl / boy
What a sweet colt! Congratulations on having this new little guy around! 😊 Btw, I know this is sort of off topic, but I just wanted to say thank you for how you are always unashamed of your faith! 😊 So many choose to hide or deny their faith on camera for the sake of views and popularity. But you don’t, so that’s great! Keep it up sister! 💕🐴
Yay congrats, i watch all your videos they are super helpful. Could i have some tips? So i have a 5 yr pony and i try to do ground work with him but he doesn't respect the whip no matter how hard i hit the ground he will just stand there or get angry any tips would be very appreciated!
I am thanking you very much like very much. Since I am just a kid and you thought me so much that's the reason for why I am thanking you. From you I got a certificate and gold medal. You are the best. From your horse training I am helping everyone who has horses. I am thanking you very very much for teaching me all the training. From your training I learned everything thing from you and from you my horse is loving me so much. Thank you for teaching me and everyone across the world. You are the best trainer and teacher of horses.
Question on your feed through fly control, we use fly predators and fly bags and it works oretty well but were looking at the feed through. Do you feel that can affect their bodies at all?
One of my horses is allergic to feed through fly control. If you try it just be sure to monitor them until you know how they will react. Mine got hives.
I monitor closely for my horse’s being overweight or signs of laminitis and they never seem to have a problem. But, I definitely know some horses that would founder if they came to my house!
If you want a good companion get a Boat goat they are sweet friendly and relatively maintenance compared to sheep they also get along well with other animals

Great patience, and understanding of what horses needs are. Giving them the space to develop their own relationships in their own time.

Loved seeing the ponies meet.
Question on your feed through fly control, we use fly predators and fly bags and it works oretty well but were looking at the feed through. Do you feel that can affect their bodies at all?
I did a lot of research on it, and I feel safe giving it to my horses. I haven’t seen any negative effects and I’ve been feeding it for about 6 months
